Pope Francis came so close to death that his medical team considered stopping treatment … then Satan intervened.

Maybe now he’ll turn to Christ for salvation.

Yeah one last task, make sure his replacement will finish the destruction of the church.

Our Lord is giving him some extra time. I pray that the Holy Father will use it for prayer, introspection, soul-searching, and repentance.

I’m certain that if he had passed away they would have chosen someone even worse to replace him.

Throw him in the burn pile, let the smoker rise.
Who will be the next pope?
Let’s hope it a believer.

Interesting that The Professor is working on the pope instead of a doctor.
You can tell by his technical term “inhaled his own vomit” instead of saying he Aspirated.

The docs did NOT say “he was so close to death” , they said he was very ill , and based on the pontiffs wishes, they might withhold treatment. Leave it to CNN to conflate their reporting.
I personally have see much worse cases...patient on full mechanical intubation, highly sedated, multiple organ failure, multiple infections, meds to keep BP up, survive.
Complete b.s. reporting....talk to any ICU nurse or physician...

It seems that Francis is now at least stable. This gives him an opportunity to do the right thing for the Church. And that is to resign for health reasons, just as Benedict did.
But like many of our older members of Congress, I suppose Francis just doesn’t want to give up all that power.
