Argentine Pres Milei to declassify documents on how Nazis fled to Argentina after Holocaust

During a meeting at the presidential palace in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, Argentinian President Javier Milei assured visiting officials from the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) that he would grant them access to classified documents detailing how 5,000 Nazi war criminals settled in Argentina after the Holocaust.

Ten thousand Nazi war criminals are estimated to have fled Europe – and justice – following World War II via escape routes known as the so-called “ratlines.” The records of the escapes and who financed them have remained classified preventing historians and Nazi hunters, including the SWC, from gaining access.

“While some previous leaders promised full cooperation to get to the hard truths that involved Argentina’s past, Milei is the first to act, with lightning speed, to enable the SWC to uncover important pieces of the historic puzzle, especially as it related to involvement with Nazis before, during and after the Holocaust,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the SWC.

I do so like getting ahead of the news.

So here goes.

Javier Milei did not kill himself!

SWC has always been very effective at uncovering such trails.

Israel has lots of experience over time.

> Does that apply to supporting Stalin? <

Interesting question. I once read an article saying we were correct in supporting Stalin during WW2. The author said that only two superpowers were going to emerge from WW2.

One was going to be the United States. The other was going to be either Nazi Germany or the USSR. We saw the USSR as the less distasteful of the two.

That argument makes sense.

Correct.

The Truth is a solid base to build a nation on.

Lies don’t stand the test of time.

I remember National Lampoon Magazine years ago...pretty funny stuff. They had one thing about the Nazis where they printed this "letter":

Senior Martin Borman regrets to inform you that he will not be able to attend the Nuremburg War Crime Trials...or the executions thereafter..."

Very likely by boat. Probably some of them were cargo ships where another crew member would not be noticed.

No, those organizations weren’t pro-Nazi. Better to say they were anti-communist. And the Nazis were also anti-communist. So I guess it was an “enemy of my enemy is my friend” sort of thing.
That was the rationale for supporting Stalin during WW2.
*********
What was t he rationale for supporting Stalin? Stalin was a murdering communist.

Such evil as existed in WWII, needs lots of dirt covering it. The smell of death is hard to hide.

Dachau was a political prisoner camp. Anyone threatening the power of Hitler was a suspect.

My father was sent to Munich not long before the war was over, he saw Dachau not long after it was liberated. One of his high school classmates was Lt. Jack Westbrook, who was involved in the actual liberation.

With cameras all over, it should be just a matter of time and if a reward is offered, it could be sooner. Others know who these terrorists are and would squeal, I’m sure. Send them to Gitmo.

I always felt like Martin Borman made it out of the Fuher bunker and eventually ended up in Argentina or some other South American Country, Hitler would be complete surprise, if he made it out, but mysteries still exist on what exactly happened.

You make a good ppint, there wasn’t much to coose between Hitler and Stalin. Both murderous gangsters bent on world domination, and with remarkably similar toxic ideologies. We ended up supporting Stalin because if Germany had succeeded in taking out the Russians, the full weight of his military would have been directed at us and - being tied up in the Pacific - we and Britain might not have prevailed. Keeping Russia in the war via material support was basically self-interest.

“I believe that those burning Tesla’s are very likely to serve serious prison time.”

I bet they get time served and community service.

Do you think Milei will be killed for opening the WWII Nazi records?

One comment I read about this release, the people who keep the records were fired when Milei cut his government payroll to a minimum. So those keeping the records are not there to show anyone. I suspect the SWC would be very happy to help expose them.

“Really? I think I’ve seen ROKU TV on my TV. Do you have to sign up? Do you have to pay? My TV has “LG Channels” which include a surprising number of interesting channels...no signup required...no fees to be paid.”

ROKU is basically a search engine for streaming services. You can search for actors, or series/movie titles. It will provide you a list where those titles can be found. Sometimes you can stream what you’re looking for, for free, other times it will be pay per view, or requires a subscription.

Many of the subscription services offer a free trial.

Trump is President. These acts will not be handled like the ComDems take care of their own.

Remember, Trump sent Tren De Aragua Gang Members to prison in El Salvador. After that, I bet some biggies in the Tren De Aragua Gang in the USA have decided to leave on their own. (save us some money)

This is very important to me, thank you. I lost a historian friend over this. He investigated this deeply in Argentina and Chili. He found stuff someone did not want him to expose.

His last email from Chili was “You will not believe what I found, it is going to change history as we know it, tell you about it when I get back to the states!”.

Never heard from him again...

OK, that is not a good sign.

WWII was a LONG TIME AGO. But when it comes to money, some of the stolen wealth of the Nazi’s might still be there.

Absolutely... That obviously means the organization is still alive and well, active, and has a lot to hide...
