This is all show. The Democrats know that by "caving", Schumer kept the judges in place so they could impede Trump's policies at every turn.

This could also be Trump's "get out of jail free" card. He can always blame the Democrats for anything that results from being blocked by the Democrat judges, such as violent crimes committed by illegals. "If the Democrat judges hadn't prevent me from removing those cartel members, then those crimes would not have occurred."

Actually, I think parts of the ‘fight’ are staged.
The Dems aren’t going to help ‘shut down government’.
