President Donald Trump has said that Joe Biden's 11th-hour pardons of members of Congress who investigated the January 6 attack are "void, vacant and of no further effect."
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that the pardons issued by his predecessor are not valid because they were allegedly signed using an autopen—a device that replicates a person's signature.
Trump also warned members of the former January 6 House select committee that they would now be "subject to investigation at the highest level."
Biden issued last-minute preemptive pardons to members of the January 6 committee to prevent Trump from seeking "revenge" against them.
Trump repeatedly claimed that the January 6 committee, led by Democratic Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi and former Republican Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming, "destroyed" evidence collected over the course of their two-year investigation. Trump has never provided evidence to support this claim........
President Joe Biden said in a January 20 statement: "The Select Committee fulfilled this mission with integrity and a commitment to discovering the truth. Rather than accept accountability, those who perpetrated the January 6th attack have taken every opportunity to undermine and intimidate those who participated in the Select Committee in an attempt to rewrite history, erase the stain of January 6th for partisan gain, and seek revenge, including by threatening criminal prosecutions."

There should be no reason for a President to use an auto-pen if he’s 100% fit for duty, which he is supposed to be when he takes the oath of office.
All involved need to face justice, period. There are a myriad of charges that can be handed down.
Also seems to me the issue is not the autopen itself but whether Biden authorized its use for the particular documents that were signed.
I can see the autopen being used to sign photographs, invitations, form letters, etc. But not official documents such as pardons, EOs, legislation, etc.
Exactly.
Assume nothing.
Question everything.
Make them prove everything.
That is the key to finding the truth in these matters.
correction
Members of the January 6 committee issued last-minute preemptive pardons to themselves using an autopen while Joe was on vacation.
“””There should be no reason for a President to use an auto-pen “”
I can see it being used for form letters or something like that. Certainly not for pardons or for signing laws and such.
Trump cannot void any of these pardons and those who can will not. That said, Trump can gain a lot by raising the issue.
Time will tell.
I like where this is going—lots of good stuff to be exposed—no telling where it might end.
I recall hearing that they deleted and/or destroyed a lot of files and reports and transcripts, etc.
Biden’s ENTIRE fake ass Presidency was auto pen..Biden has mid stage dementia, EVERY FREAKIN PERSON KNOWS THAT OK..Biden was NEVER President, it was Obama’s goons who ran the country, and they would autosign everything, Biden just stayed in bed all day crapping his diaper and on occasion when necessary they would dope him up so he was semi coherent
Trump signs EVERYTHING, on video, so you can see it..he loves signing stuff, no one can forge his signature its impossible
what is the legal way a president who does not have the ability to sign a document such as no arms or his arms are incapacitated?
Let me know when we get a President with no arms and we will discuss it then.
I wonder how many, and how much, previous Presidents used the autopen.????
Important signatures are witnessed.
The dems basically put a coin slot on the auto-pen machine and passed it around.
fair enough!
so I’ll rephrase my question—How does a person without the formal ability to sign a document legally do so?
“””How does a person without the formal ability to sign a document legally do so?”””
Do you know anyone in the White House like that?
