Dulce Flores, a teacher at Riverbank High School outside Modesto, is charged with having sex with a 17-year-old while he was a student in 2023, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office.
The 33-year-old had been teaching at the school since 2016, cops said.
Authorities launched an investigation into the sick teacher after a school official received a tip about the inappropriate relationship.

17 is the age of accountability in Texas. You can consent to sex with anyone three years younger and as old as you wish too. Texas will also try you as an adult and give you the needle at 17.
When I was 17&1/2 I was already graduated from MCRD and at 29 Palms with a off post girlfriend that was 10 years older. Some states have 16 as the age of accountability. Texas has a Romeo and Juliet law where it’s 3 years in either direction under 17. So a 17 yo can legally be with a 14 yo of either gender. It 18/15 or 19/16 by 20/17 it’s already legal.
A woman offering sex to a boy controls him - he will obey to get sex. Also, he’s a kid so he instinctively is hesitant not to obey an adult who he wants to like him.
She's old enough to be his mother and violated someone she had legal responsibility for while school was in session. This isn't a hormone issue, it's an Oedipal Greek tragedy.
This woman targeted a teenager because she was approaching The Wall. As they say in China, she's Sheng nü, translated as 'leftover women'.
Maybe someone on this forum would volunteer to allow her to be under house arrest in his home, watching to make sure she stayed out of trouble as she served her minimal sentence outside of prison. Justice should show compassion.
17 is by no means a child. I had boots and a rifle and would kill someone stone cold dead without hesitation in seconds at 17. I was married at 18 not by 18 as in the day I turned 18 and could sign for myself in California, and a father shortly after. People coddle American youths too much it’s sad really.
