How WOULD Keir Starmer's 'coalition of the willing' enforce a peace deal in Ukraine? European troops on the ground and RAF planes in the skies could stop Russia breaking a ceasefire

they can get nuked without American aid

Which is why, if we are going to withdraw support, we need to make a clean break from NATO.

Let the Euroweenies glow in the dark. We're staying out of it.

A labour gubmint did not get elected on its foreign policy.

In fact it came to power because the Bojo coup inside the conservative party could not come up with anything better than Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak.

It’s amateur hour in the UK on every front.

Trump however got elected on a foreign policy that rejects intervention in wars we have no business in.

Truly A Tale of Two Countries.

#21: "All of them together would still not add up to what we were paying"

Starmer just offered the Ukes $2 billion. Biden would give 10 times that before he even had his first bowel movement of the day.

I'm not sure of the tab so far, but I think I saw it was $450 billion so far from the USA. GAG ME.

they'd rather let the killing continue than to give credit to Donald Trump for stopping it

That became glaringly obvious this past few days.

Johnson is trying to put together a CR to traverse March 15.

It is to be “clean” whatever that means, usually “no change to current spending.”

Critical question, such CRs appropriate money for already authorized expenses, and that last such for Ukraine was some months ago. In fact, the current CR, which was signed in Dec, had only (not clear) $3B or $6B money for Ukraine. That has certainly been spent by now.

Unlike previous years, the CR has to get past House GOP fiscal conservatives, also House GOP narrowly won seat occupants and Trump, who will have the final say.

Get one thing very clear. Neither Johnson nor Thune are going to be put in a position where they put something for Ukraine on the floor that Trump will veto. They will NOT be forcing a veto they cannot override and there is zero chance of getting 2/3 to override Trump with his popularity.

Would this motley crew take out a Ukrainian if he was the one violating the ceasefire agreement? L

they’ll convince Little Z The Grifter to go back to Trump and take the minerals deal

Oh, I don't think so. Once the war ends, they can hold elections, which is the last thing Z wants.

“Europe can do what they want to. Can they scrape up enough troops and planes is the question.”

I don’t believe there’s a single economy in Europe robust enough to even attempt to keep the peace in Ukraine. And no matter what treaty the Russians sign, the peacekeepers will lose people. If only to mines and unexploded ordnance if nothing else. This is the sort of thing that will make fragile governments, and that’s the big three, fall.

“If Argentina tries to take the Falklands (Maldives) again, Britain would not be able to get them back now or do anything about it”

Perhaps the Falkland Islanders would prefer to be a part of Argentina now.

" and the western European public is not going to like the losses."

But see, here's the thing: Leftist, European fantasists, who believe in the wonders of "green" energy, flooding their countries with inbred, Third World Savages and destroying their economies via these and other idiotic leftist policies, are simply not going to grasp the reality of messing with serious people like the Russians in matters of war unless their major cities are flattened.

The "peasants" in the EU and UK will revolt against their evil leaders only after the first Russian missiles detonate in London, Paris and Brussels, and maybe not even then.

European manhood has been thoroughly excised by leftist/globalist domestic enemies within Europe.

UK and FR have already said they’ll only do this if “there is an American backstop”.

So, no. No European troops in Ukraine.

Britain has more Admirals than ships, and more horses than tanks. Do they have enough planes, and enough pilots to fly them?

This is a war that the US should sit out.

There is nothing in it for us, and no honor. Ukraine must save itself now, peace has been offered and refused. God bless Trump for trying for peace, and shame on those who destroyed it for political ‘we gotchas’.

Maybe with divine intervention, Ukraine can be saved. No GPS via star link soon. I doubt they will last 60 days after US support and special forces-mercenaries leave. The collapse could look much like Afghanistan, I am afraid.

Ukraine has gambled it all on a pair of fives, maybe the Russians have less. Britain, France, and Germany should make plans for the impeding human waves of refugees that will happen as the US support is withdrawn.

Most likely Russia will only break a treaty if they’re Russian citizens living along the Crimea are threatened same goes with their shipping lanes, if the Ukrainians threaten the Russian shipping lanes it’s all over.

Nukes have a mind of their own now and find their way to countries they aren’t aimed at?

You’ve not read Trump well at all.

Troops going into ukraine are not protected under NATO.

Trump doesn’t want to even BE in NATO

Neither do I

I think it is likely Putin would stop at the Dnieper and also take Odessa but leave the ethnic Uke territories to the west as a rump Ukraine.

I don’t think her really wants the whole mess - nor to resurrect the old Soviet Empire.
