I am turning 64 shortly. If someone offered me eight months salary with bennies, to leave early? My response would, ‘Where do I sign up?’
I am very suspicious of this one, sounds like a physical form of some kind of limited hang out.

Mulroney did that in d’Ottawa over 30 years ago. Fired a bunch of ‘swivel servants’ and hired most back on contact. Saved greatly on the costs of not paying ‘bennies’ and, being on contact, firing became quick, easy, and cheap.

This is actually no different from the buyout that was offered a few days ago. That was a universal buyout offer as well, at least for the departments which it covered. I guess the earlier EO didn’t cover the CIA.
We’ll see. No doubt there is lots of data, memos, files and financials etc they’ll need to go through. Probably need to bring quite a few back to testify.

I have no problem with any of this. I was Overt, and the clan people were the worst liars, scum and self promoting a******s on the face of the Earth. They would lie to everyone, throw money around like confetti, and ruin everyplace they touched.
