Nothing. It just seemed the charge against Canada was insincere.
Hmm been President 13 days and all ready the always whining are making up things to whine about.
It was just a matter of time.
“ It just seemed the charge against Canada was insincere.”
Insincere? I don’t follow.
“Already going to implement” means nothing until it actually gets implemented.
Trump’s threat was always a “Well, get on with it” demand. Now that it’s delayed for 30 days, it just means “If I don’t see some actual results it’s back on.” to keep them in line.
Canada is not a large problem concerning fentanyl. I comes from China via Mexican cartels. And if it were a real problem why not add more border guards to stop it?
It’s our job, but made easier when the other country is cooperating rather than turning a blind eye to it.
It a real issue killing 200 US Citizens every day. Canada military spending is a just made up excuse to whine today. It has nothing like the urgency of securing the border does
You utterly disgraced yourself posting that nonsense.
Aboot bloody time. Now stop picking on Jordan Peterson.
Dominion bank laundering money for Chicoms and cartels is a huge problem.
You are wrong Canadian border is not a problem just because the Mexican border is a bigger problem.
False
You know nothing at all about this topic. It obvious in all your posting on this thread.
Stop it. Grow up finally.
A good call or a perfect phone call?
Tyler Fischer says it right and it’s huge....
Senator Schumerr: “Never mind....”
Aide: “I found the maple syrup...”
Sen. Schumer: “NEVER MIND! And cancel my press conference.”
No what insincere here is your constant whining in every post about every thing.
So what is it? Still pouting because Trump beat DeSantis?
Good one. And believable.
Canadians will avoid difficult things due to “shhhedduling” problems.
I just had a good call with President Trump. Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.
In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a Fentanyl Czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada- U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering. I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.
Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together.
$1.3 billion border plan
News release
December 17, 2024 – Ottawa, Canada
Today, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs, along with the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship and the Honourable Ya’ara Saks, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, released Canada’s Border Plan. Backed by an investment of $1.3 billion and built around five pillars, this plan will bolster border security, strengthen our immigration system and contribute to ensuring Canada’s future prosperity.
That border plan was announced two months ago. Trump didn’t get nearly enough out of this.
