Canadian Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre, who will likely be the next prime minister, is known for his exceptional skills in making liberal reporters eat it during press conferences and interviews. He’s not as aggressive as Trump in his tone and inflection, but he’s just as lethal. He knows the media’s games as well, and most should know it by now.
When asked about Donald Trump’s executive order on recognizing only two genders, which is fact-based and acknowledges basic biology, the conservative leader left CP24 host Phil Perkins stumped with a simple reply: is there another gender that we are unaware of right now

I saw that. He used that apple as a prop. He did a great job.
When asked by the reporter if he agrees with pres Trump’s statement that “there are only 2 genders”
He replied:
“Well, I don’t know. Do you have any other genders that you’d like to name?” Poilievre asked dryly.
I saw that as well. I’ve been observing him.
Yeah it was a perfect response for a Canadian audience. It was a typical CTV gotcha question and Pierre turned it on him by simply calmly asking the punk to name a third gender.
Polievre is all about common sense and is patriotic to his country. Trump, under all the bombast, is also about common sense and obviously, patriot. These two can work well together, making deals to make both Canada and America great again.
Of course, we can’t count on Mexico standing up to their cartels to straighten that country out.

Probably next but one. The next will be Trudeau’s replacement as Liberal part leader.
Poilievre is in a challenging position. He is on track to win in a landslide election. Everyone hates Trudeau. But Trump is not helping the situation with his “trolling” comments about making Canada the 51st state. That may cause Canadians to rally around whoever replaces Trudeau as the Liberal leader and reduce Poilievre’s majority. The Canadian press is desperate to tie Poilievre to Trump and use Trump policies as a wedge. Poilievre has been good in his responses so far.
So many of the Lefty rhetorical games have been used up and now fail and flail, such that it becomes ever easily to flummox the Lefty press.
He's a one note Johnny on carbon tax.
I like him too. Saw a debate between him and Justine. He eviscerated Justine with wit and a smile, never raising his voice or missing a beat. It was beautiful.
Pierre still holds the view that government is the entity that can solve the problems.
