Yes and it’s easier to cure these cancers at a younger age. However, in order to stay alive, as a person gets older they must attend to themselves more frequently and more frequently for related issues.
That is why immortality, on this side of eternity, ends up being impossible. The time and expense taken ultimately becomes impossible to do as the body breakdown due to aging becomes more and more frequent.
When you are young, you might take a pill to stay alive every 6 months. However, it eventually becomes hourly and even minutely, along with all the other stuff you would have to do to keep cancer at bay.

Trump sending a mixed message.
A new age of Common Sense and an age of AI seem in conflict.
I presume that this was just 3 industry titans leaning on Trump to allow them to make some big industry-specific announcement about some huge private project where they wanted to get a lot of publicity.
You will note that Larry Ellison has been trying long/hard to be the King of Technology. Oracle has had a very impressive track record the past 4+ decades and they are better than ever now. However, they’ve been vastly eclipsed & its got to piss him off that his company is now considered 2nd tier. It’s not even one of the 8 Big Tech companies worth over 1 trillion market cap - Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Tesla, Meta, Broadcom - and you will note that NOBODY from any of those 8 companies was present at this session with Trump.
Ok its debatable how techie some of those companies may be. But one thing is clear about all of them - the leaders of each imagine themselves having the best vision for technology in the future of the human race where their vision & platform of products/services make up the foundation of where we should be and go in the future. And I bet they all were pissed that Trump had this press conference like this. Not one of these 8 imagines having Oracle, Open AI, and Softbank as the foundation of the future of AI.
If I were advising Trump, I would urge him to make sure that this time vaccines he promotes work and do no harm.
