US President Donald Trump on Monday called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to strike a deal to end the nearly three-year war in Ukraine, specifying that Russia will be in "big trouble" if the conflict continues.
"He should make a deal. I think he's destroying Russia by not making a deal," Trump said upon his return to the Oval Office. "I think Russia's going to be in big trouble."
Trump expressed his willingness to meet with Putin, mentioning their prior summit during his first term. "I got along with him great. I would hope he wants to make a deal," Trump added.

14 hours and counting down!
Trump speaks out against Putin.
Putinist trolls have a sad.
Zeepers have Biden-worthy bowel explosion.
"Many around here" is one of those fine phrases which says little.
My bride and I have thought for months that President Trump's campaign rhetoric was never a contract, that later remarks suggested up to "100 days" which would occupy time setting up contacts and formulating actions, and more.
Enjoy your count down. The GOPBriefingRoom folks will assist you and provide comfort, as tomorrow breaks.
Trump had a good day, except for all this bullish!t about Russia. Russia has already won the war, their army is now far bigger and more seasoned than when the war began, their economy is the fastest growing economy in Europe, and the morale of the people is very high. Putin is a good leader. Trump seems to be trying to be as stupid as Biden on Russia. His comments will harm any negotiations because they are so inaccurate that Putin must be enjoying the thought of correcting Trump when they meet. Trump might bear in mind that for the past two months the US has been launching missiles against Russia, an act of war, that Putin has politely ignored knowing Biden was on his way out. But he has every right to be extremely angry at the US for causing the war in Ukraine and now for attacking Russia directly with missiles that could have nuclear warheads. The US is the guilty party here.
As I said on another thread:
It will be interesting to see, when push comes to shove, if the Putinist trolls end up siding with Trump or with Putin. They seem unsure exactly how to proceed at the moment.
Popcorn. Need more popcorn.
Your boyfriend The Maxi-Pad has a spam thread started already.
Canβt you guys get your sh*t together?ππ€‘
Trump can't throw more money at the Ukraine money pit without outraging his own base. He either needs to change his tune or risk humiliation. Why he would want to carry water for the same Deep State cabal that has waged war against him I'll never understand. Let the Borderlands be the Borderlands like their name (Ukraine) says.
I expect Putin to explain to Trump that freezing the war without a peace treaty GUARANTEES that it will be restarted again, possibly even in his term...and Trump will understand that.
“President Trump dinged Russian leader Vladimir Putin and openly questioned whether he’s even after a deal with Ukraine.”
Sounds like Trump is starting to realize PUTIN is the real obstacle to Peace...
Trump and Johnson are playing the MIC like a fiddle. There won’t be anymore more money for the Ukes. Feigning support for the Generals but strategically waiting for Putin to tip his hand and call for talks.
SO, the anti- Putin idiots who back Biden’s war policy are gathering here, at FreeRepublic. Trump said he would “end the war in the first day”. So far, Trump is right on much today, but 100% wrong on Putin. Too bad. I guess Trump will send another $200 billion to Ukraine. That will really show the Putinist trolls here who is the boss.
So, are you calling Trump one of the “anti- Putin idiots”.
Like I said, when push comes to shove...
Popcorn. More popcorn.
President Trump has no interest in Making Russia Great Again and enabling Putin’s latest colonialist war of choice. In fact quite the opposite. He’s always campaigned for good tax-paying job producing American energy to replace Russian energy supplying the $20 trillion dollar EU economy.
It’s quite hilarious to see President Trump’s own words from the White House smeared as “spam”. Genuinely moronic in fact. I wouldn’t worry about the opinions and motivations of such fringe gadflies.
Russia has lost a lot of it’s short supply of young workers.
It’s social system has caused a population replacement problem.
In the short term Russia will win, but what will be
the cost to their society?
The land will still be there for who ever takes over.
β It will be interesting to see, when push comes to shove, if the Putinist trolls end up siding with Trump or with Putin.β
Obviously Putin.
Some are ludicrous like Baghdad Bob.
Others are more crafty in their subterfuge of where their allegiance is.
