Harris looked grim-faced and forlorn as she arrived at the ceremony on Capitol Hill, failing to raise a smile as she walked in with President Joe Biden.

How sweet it is! What a great day!
Off to obscurity for you, Ms. Harris - exactly where you belong. Your political career is over, put a fork in it.

“Black pantsuit with exposed zippers”, staying classy until the end.

She’s “grim-faced” because she’s not going to get the $100 million payout that every other Dem - Clinton, Gore, Obama and their wives - got from corporate America after they served their time.

Nobody forced her to attend. I’m sure there were thousands of people who would have appreciated having her seat.

I thought she actually did a good job of keeping it together during the ceremony. That had to be so humiliating. She had an appropriate smile on her face for most of the times I looked at her.
**Wow, I never thought I would make such positive comments about that cackling loon.**

Not just a pantsuit, a tacky looking pantsuit.

As did Al Gore, Hubert Humphrey and Richard Nixon before her.
It’s ok. Government service has ups and downs.

What happened to the “joy”, she supposedly ran on? The “joy” that ran off over 90% of her staff. They couldn’t handle all of the joy of working for Her Highness.

I thought it was a more high browed occasion. Just seems a little informal and low rent, in my opinion.

She watched with her usual grace and aplomb. NOT! What a sour, surly, sore loser curmudgeon. I'm SO reminded of 24 years ago...

To her credit, at least she was there, unlike spiteful Pelosi and Michelle O. She at least carried out her duty, if not cheerfully. It’ll probably be her last time on a world stage, and it must have been humiliating. She should never have reached the heights of power that she did, and she needs to have a long, quiet retirement.
