The DA in Santa Clara County is trying to lower Richard Farley from the death penalty to life in prison without parole.
I was in the building at EDL when it happened.
I'm lucky to be alive. I had an unexpected meeting that day instead of my usual walk down to the snack room on that day.
Yup,these Soros DAs just cannot tolerate the death penalty in any case...except in cases involving Trump supporters.
Is that a news haiku
Yep. I’m so glad we moved out of California. Sarah Huckabee is my governor now. I’m glad my tax dollars aren’t funding that DA.
But they are all for killing babies and the elderly!
Saving lives is only for heinous murderers!
The traitorous Santa Clara County DA should get the death penalty for even trying to reduce the sentence.
Wow, I actually recognized the name when I saw the title of the post. It was a gazillion years ago, but I thought I recognized the name and had to click on the article to confirm.
Doesn’t matter. There are 650 people on death row in California and the last execution was in 2006. They need to execute some sentences and empty it out.
A “News Haiku”. That’s a useful phrase.
Sounds more classy than a ‘news bite’.
You win post of the day!
“We don’t need him to pick apart a case that is finished,” Allen said. “We need closure. We need fairness. We need justice.”
How does this bring closure you fool? Carry out their sentences. If you refuse the people need to get you out of office.
Ride you out on a rail, as we say.
In this case closure should be found at the end of a rope.
I would wager that a death penalty in California actually increases the perp’s life expectancy.
Santa Clara County needs a new DA - Deep Blue Los Angeles County just kicked out their Soros-installed DA George Gascon - who, right before he was ousted, was trying to get the Melendez brothers resentenced and paroled.
Newly elected DA, law-and-order Nathan Hochman is having none of it.
😄
In the olden days an execution took place within 90 days of being found guilty. Now the condemned die of old age waiting for the execution.
In Oklahoma, they forgot to execute a man condemned for murders near here. They simply forgot about him till weeks after his execution date, so they resentenced him to life in prison.
