Last week the Department of Justice’s inspector general released a report on some of the DOJ’s tracking of communications from media and congressional figures as part of its purported investigation into who was leaking classified information against President Donald Trump in 2017. Three significant bombshells about the Russia collusion hoax were hidden inside the dense and dry 100-page report.
For context, when Trump won the 2016 presidential election, anonymous Democrat operatives in the federal government and Congress began leaking like sieves as part of a coordinated effort to paint Trump as a mastermind spy who had worked with Russian President Vladimir Putin for decades in order to steal the election.

One thing I really wanna see with this Trump administration, is the absolute destruction, both professionally and legally of people who leak information. I want administration to make a conscious effort to catch these people and figuratively speaking give them a public execution each time they catch one.
I think they know who their enemies are in the swamp at the upper echelon’s, but I guarantee there’s a whole bunch of swamp creatures at the mid and lower levels as well, that will fly below the radar for the entire administration, only identifying themselves when they leak information to harm the administration

That is worthy. But also go after overclassification.
In this case the supposed Russia gate crap leak info was classified to hide illegal and political smears conducted by the FBI and CIA.
We probably need about 5% of the classified information to actually be classified.

It depends on whose ox is gored. Some things need to come out. People need to be punished. Those who enabled the plandemic and vax genocide attempt, for example. I guess one has to distinguish between a leaker and a whistleblower.

Under 18 U.S. Code § 798 - Disclosure of classified information:
(a)Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates, furnishes, transmits, or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person,.......
"Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both."
Schiff and Swallwell are both guilty of violating that Code section.
There are probably a lot more crimes they committed of which we aren't aware. I know this is said about so much of the left's actions, but if these two had an "R" by their names, they would have been forced to resign from Congress and both would now be sitting in prison.
Leaking a$$holes? Gross.
I believe that actually prosecuting senior swamp creatures for leaking will help with the over classification problem. Why classify stuff where the only purpose is to be able to leak it so you can show you are "in the know" at cocktail parties, but you get prosecuted.

My personal opinion is that your estimate is low, but I do believe that upwards of 50% does not need to be classified, and another at least 50% is classified at a higher level than necessary.
A government that has as much secrecy as ours is not a government that exists by the will of the people. It simply cannot be. If we do not know what they are doing, and entire agencies like CIA have black budgets... they ARE the government and beyond control.
I stand by the 5% figure. Certainly less than 10%. Even a cursory look at Wikileaks supports that the vast majority of classification is to hide what they are doing from the American people.... not from the enemy.
Bombshell #2 should land several people in jail. The staffer and the reporters. I’m not sure that freedom of the press covers knowingly publishing classified information. Shouldn’t cover it in my opinion.
