GREENSBORO, N.C. —
A woman has been charged after a fight escalated into a shooting at McDonald’s, according to officials with the Greensboro Police Department.
On Tuesday, around 8:30 p.m., police said they responded to McDonald’s, located at 3601 W. Gate City Blvd after reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found a 29-year-old who had been shot. Investigators said the shooting victim, identified as Aaquan Butler, tried to rob someone in the bathroom of the McDonald’s. This caused a struggle, which moved into the dining area, where Butler pulled a handgun and it went off.
Officials said Butler was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition. Butler has been charged with robbery with a firearm, felony conspiracy, conspiring to sell/deliver cocaine, carrying a concealed gun, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Officials said Heaven White, 22, was also charged with felony conspiracy, aid and abet robbery, conspiracy to sell/deliver cocaine, carrying a concealed gun, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
I was gonna say “the combatants were in McDonald’s, what exactly did they expect to get in a robbery? A few dollar bills?”
But, given the price of McDonald’s today, the people in there might been loaded just too afford a meal there these days
Any bets?
“Aaquan”.......I think I found the problem
The Amish up to it again?
Yes. They were probably of Korean heritage.
Just a guess.
This is all about bringing the McRib back, isn’t it?
Absolutely! 100%! Spot on! Totally Agree!
Opening: A woman has been charged ...
Turns out, a man (Aaquan Butler) tried to rob someone.
That man ended up pulling out a gun.
The man, being a dumbass, managed to shoot himself at the McDonald's.
And, oh, by the way, that man (Aaquan Butler) had an accomplice. Who was female.
So, the really important thing is, A woman has been charged
It was a drug deal gone bad....dealers often carry large amounts of cash as well as their product, which makes them a target for robbery which is also why they are usually armed......at least I did when I was a young idiot doing this nonsense.
But I had more sense than to do a drug deal in a crapper with only one egress in a fast food joint.
SMH
I see you smart-ass 😂
Aaquan is likely a male. The headline is misleading. Two idiots involved. Aaquan and Heaven. Both had weapons. Both were dealing coke. Aaquan was shot after he tried to rob someone. Heaven was arrested and charged. Aaquan was charged and will likely be arrested upon his release from the hospital.
Officials said Butler was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition. Butler has been charged with robbery with a firearm, felony conspiracy, conspiring to sell/deliver cocaine, carrying a concealed gun, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
I thought maybe it was a typo and the name was actually Saquon.
With that name, she must be a part of America's Founding Stock.
You're gonna need this if you plan to go to a McDonald's.
He was named “Aaquan” because his momma was gonna have 4 more kids (state paychecks), “ Bbquqn, Ccquan, Ddquan and Eequan.” She figured “Ffquan” would start too many fights.
Or...
...His name was really gonna be simply “Quan,” but when the nurse was filling out the form, momma, still reeling from the delivery anesthetics, said “Aah, Quan,” which the nurse heard as “Aaquan.” Really. That’s how it happened.
I’m blown away by what people say McDonalds charges nowadays. I live near a small town in south central Kentucky that has five Mexican restaurants. My favorite one, which competes with anything I had while I lived in Seattle, charges $5 for lunch and $7 for the same “combos” for dinner. And not only do you get the free chips and salsa, but they have three fantastic “house blend” hot sauces.
Oh, and thngs like fish tacos (which I love) can set you back $12, but still...
I’ve not done fast food since 1997, except for the occasional stof at Subway on long road trips. But we usually make our own food for that.
I was going to guess they were rare North Carolina Navajo.
