MASSIVE news: Walmart is ending their woke policies. I can now exclusively tell you what’s changing and how it happened.
Last week I told execs at @Walmart that I was doing a story on wokeness there. Instead we had productive conversations to find solutions.
Below are the changes Walmart committed to. I have to give their executives major credit because this will send shockwaves throughout corporate America. This is the biggest win yet for our movement to end wokeness in corporate America.
Here are the changes Walmart committed to:
• Surveys: Walmart will no longer participate in the HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index.
• Products: Monitor the Walmart marketplace to identify and remove inappropriate sexual and / or transgender products marketed to children.
• Funding of Grants: Review all funding of Pride, and other events, to avoid funding inappropriate sexualized content targeting kids.
• Equity: We will not extend the Racial Equity Center which was established in 2020 as a special five-year initiative.
• Supplier Diversity: We will evaluate supplier diversity programs and ensure they do not provide preferential treatment and benefits to suppliers based on diversity. We don't have quotas and won’t going forward. Financing eligibility will no longer be predicated on providing certain demographic data.
• LatinX: Walmart will no longer use the term in official communications.
• Trainings: Walmart will discontinue racial equity training through the Racial Equity Institute.
• DEI: Walmart will discontinue the use of DEI as a term while ensuring a respectful and supportive environment. Our focus is on Belonging for ALL associates and customers.

It’s kind of like shutting the barn door after the horse already ran.
These are all good.
They are only missing one piece.
They need to make a formal written apology to their employees and customers for capitulating to the woke mob pressure.
Something like “we were wrong, we lacked courage, we made some terrible decisions, and we have learned from our mistakes”.
Who is this guy. Did they respond to his initiative or someone else. If it is true then the DEI, LGBQ,etc, etc, BLM, CRT staff are relegated to chewing on carpets. Doesn’t seem likely.
That won’t (probably can’t) happen because there would be repercussions including possible legal ones. The best we can expect is they clean up their act over the next year.
Walmart was the first national chain to require those stupid masks in 2020
Walmart is dead to me
It’s kind of like shutting the barn door after the horse already ran.“
Right, how about bringing back the “My Pillow” product line? It sold very well but they dumped because the Walmart CEO is a rat.
>>Who is this guy. Did they respond to his initiative or someone else
He’s an activist who has devoted himself to challenging corporations that push DEI and Woke policies. And he’s been successful at getting a number of them to abandon such policies. Walmart appears to be his biggest success, so far.
“It’s kind of like shutting the barn door after the horse already ran.”
It is kind of like shutting the barn door after returning the horse to the barn.
That’s true.
And the sooner they apologize, the better.
Nahh.
As soon as the next Dem is in office they will dust off the trans flags again.
Assuming these are all true, I would venture to guess many of these were technically already happening. For example, the carefully crafted not using LatinX in “public” communications. Doesn’t mean they can’t still say it in internal communications.
That's not enough. How about ZERO funding of sexual events no matter who is targeted. What is the corporate point of funding buggery events? Walmart should not be funding ANY event that has to do with sexual proclivities, perverse or normal.
Till then, the horse is in the barn and the doo closed.
BTW, here’s a little more background on Starbuck and his efforts.

My problem with Walmart started before it went woke.
It beat its chest as having the lowest prices and backed it up the price match guarantee.
I no longer associate Walmart with low prices at least in their grocery section as I never did buy much in the rest of the store.
Pretending Walmart has the lowest prices on groceries is like pretending Faux News is conservative.
To me it’s obviously catering to the “prevailing wind” and seeking profits.
Too late. Other options.
More WINNING!!!!!
