Gay homosexuals usually hate women, right?

I don’t get the sense that Trump is making many appointments. It appears to be the same gang (loyalties lie elsewhere, you can guess) who sabotaged his first admin.

So if Randi Weingarten is OK with this pick, that's good enough for me! — /sarc

Well said. There are going to be rinos here and there. As long as there’s a war on illegals.

Trump is building a super majority party that includes some democrat defectors. We need the numbers if we are going to stop the totalitarian takeover of America. Unfortunately, the totalitarians control both political parties. If we are worrying about unions vs. freedom to work issues but we lose our country in the process we are going to feel pretty silly.

Her “cozy ties to unions” might work to her/Trump’s advantage in negotiations. I can’t imagine that DJT is not aware of this.

Exactly. She doesn’t make policy she implements and also proposes things. With Chevron Deference Trump is even more empowered as the executive. She can’t just start doing anti MAGA policies. What this is doing is giving a voice at the table to the unions it’s not handing the government over to them. If they feel heard and that they have a voice in the Republican party they won’t just continue to hand out ground game support to Democrats and Republicans have a chance to grow their majorities. This is actually have you grow. I repeat, she is in the Trump administration, she reports to Trump, Trump can fire her if she goes rogue. Assuming she doesn’t this ensures that in a party where moat would disagree with many of her positions those positions still have to be considered.

Uh huh...which policy do you think Trump is going to enact because she is the Labor Secretary. Get a grip. If rhis was DOJ then I’m with you but come on. See my comment above.

What are you, 10? :)

You’re gonna give yourself an anxiety attack (might be too late) if you worry about EVERY SINGLE THING.

Nobody is being elected dictator to any position.

If it turns out they are not what Trump thought or he was misled, they will be let go.

Geez he has to pick a million people and some slip through...or he has reasons we don’t know or he messed up...it’s HUMAN.

Or did you vote thinking he was G-d?

“Gay homosexuals usually hate women, right?”

Well, yeah, and a certain segment of Freepers, all manly men, who are ranting against females in Trump’s cabinet, in a totally masculine way of course.

I always thought male queers prefer female friends as their “role models”. And lots of women find male queers to be the only “men” they can have as “friends”. So the idea that gay homosexuals “hate women” sounds really strange to me.

When did FR become an anti-Trump site within a couple of weeks after his re-winning of the presidency? Some people on here sound like they had backed a different Republican candidate and are still disappointed, or had wanted Harris to win.

The source is questionable at best. I know nothing about this lady, but I can spot those who hate Trump, and you have proven many times over that you are one of those people.

Chavez-DeRemer was painted as a MAGA extremist by her Democrat opponent in the last election. No one mentioned her ties to the unions, just that she was ‘bipartisan’.

Very well said. It’s about time the Republican Party would work with the unions. One of the Dems biggest failures is casting aside the blue collar worker in favor of the pervert of the month club and their latest sideshow freaks.

It makes sense to get the unions on his side - at least a little bit - besides, the “job” isn’t critical for unions....we aren’t going to get rid of unions in what remains of my lifetime, but we can make a dent and rein in some of the more deleterious ones like the Dock Workers and “Teachers”...
