France declared Ukraine has the right to defend itself, including using French SCALP missiles, against Russia.
“There’s no red line,” said a French spokesperson, reinforcing support for Ukraine’s strikes on targets like the reported North Korean-command post in Russia's Kursk region.
The spokesperson highlighted France’s military aid and training efforts for Ukraine, emphasizing international law supports Kyiv’s self-defense.

I keep saying that, but few seem to really get it. Western Europe is the center of the globalist evil, and only takes, takes, takes from us while ridiculing us behind our backs. Ironically, the Eastern Europeans, primarily Poland and Hungary, ARE our true allies.
And by the way, I hope the French enjoyed the Eiffel Tower (and for that matter, Paris) while they had it. If they don’t knock it off, Putin will turn it into molten iron.

Very true, unfortunately. Not only is Western Europe not an ally, and actually an enemy, but WE have been turned into one of the actual bad guys by our recent leftist “leadership.”
How long until we realize that the left is intentionally trying to annihilate this country, and at the rate they’re going may very well succeed before they lose power? If the People truly understood the immediacy of the mortal danger we are facing, and had actual courage, millions of them would take to the streets and “liquidate” the vile leftists in our midst to the very last of them.
And should we survive this time, there should be an effort to make the teaching of leftist/marxist principles in this country illegal, and prohibit any leftist/marxist from holding office at any level, similar to how Germany purged Nazism. At least, a sane and courageous country would do that, but we will have to see if we have anything remotely resembling that.

Russia can hardly handle Ukraine. It is not going to take on NATO despite Putin’s blustering. But let’s take it to the source. If Russia ends its invasion, it all stops. Don’t blame this on those who are helping the one who has been invaded.

As to the cause of the war, that’s been litigated enough here and everyone who regularly posts on Ukraine knows what led to the war, even if it’s inconvenient for Zeepers to admit such.
North Korea permitted Russia to attack Ukraine withe Nork artillery shells.
Iran permitted Russia to attack Ukraine with Iranian drones.
My "festing" occurred at numerous wine fests along the Mosel River, just minutes from where I lived. During my last year, I mostly attended on Monday nights, after the tourists had gone home. Tuesday mornings, my first stop was at my Battlion Cdr's office, to brief him on the previous night. He was always looking for places to take his wife. It was also no secret why our quarterly Hails and Farewells took place near my apartment. A friend and I came to know the best restaurants along the Mosel. Afterwards, I invited one and all to my apartment, where the party continued. My landlord never minded, he thought it was great.
I also had a great TDY during the summer of 79, at a German anti-aircraft range near Kiel. Although I was the XO, I was usually in charge as my CO had marital issues 400 miles to the south. Never had a discipline problem, and it wasn't due to my exceptional leadership. There was a tourist town a few miles off base, with the greatest concentration of newly divorced I have ever seen. They fell in love with my soldiers, and the affection was returned.
I met a lovely waitress, right out of Warren Zevon's "Lawyers Guns & Money". Thankfully, she was never with the Russians.
Not without first taking Ukraine and not without an emasculated Europe. Conquering Ukraine would increase Russia's size and strength. Meanwhile, a Europe that failed to stop Russia in Ukraine would show that it would not stand up further Russian aggression, such as in the Baltic states. Failing to stand up to Putin would only embolden him.

Indeed we do, Russia's invasion of Ukraine to further Putin's ambition to rebuild Russia to extent of the old Russian Empire, even if it's inconvenient for Russian apologists to admit such.
