In what could be seen as a historic moment in modern American political history, Senate Democrats have gifted Donald Trump four circuit court seats in exchange for expediting 11 district court vacancies. The deal was brought about by Senate Republicans stalling confirmation hearings so effectively that the Democrat leadership cried, "Uncle."

The four appeals court nominations that will expire with the new Congress are Ryan Park, of North Carolina, for the 4th Circuit; Julia Lipez, of Maine, for the 1st Circuit; Karla Campbell, of Tennessee, for the 6th Circuit; and Adeel Mangi, of New Jersey, for the 3rd Circuit.
Some of these nominations, like that of Ryan Park, seemed to be dead already:
A U.S. Senate panel on Thursday advanced the nomination of one of Democratic President Joe Biden's final picks to serve as a federal appeals court judge over the objections of Republican Senator Thom Tillis, who warned he had secured enough votes to potentially prevent the nominee from being confirmed.
President Trump will fill These positions.
The positive thing about this interaction was that both sides were able to act like adults. While the Democrats got 11 district court judges, the Republicans arguably got the better deal with four circuit court picks.

Good deal. 11 is a drop in the bucket compared to the total

Trump will be able to make deals if the RINOs don’t foul everything up.
If the dems couldn’t get their guys in, why not just wait and get them all?
I am not sure this is a good deal, trading 11 for 4? Where are these Judgeships located, could be these 4 are in back water areas vs major Cities...

The Circuit courts of appeal are far more powerful than the district courts; if this is true, its not a bad trade.
Only Trump II could have done this deal. Trump I could not have.
4 Appeals Court level judges better than 11 Circuit Court level judges.
Control the Appeals Courts and you can neuter the woke Circuit Courts.

Infuriating as hell! He should’ve told Matt G to stand his ground and see what the Republicans at the hill are made out of. Which need to be primary and which need to be praised for their courage! You have no clue how pissed off I am! I’m sick of the DC swamp RINOS always fudging up the war plan! I despise them.
Having dealt with courts and filing appeals the number of appeals are low as it is very expensive to appeal cases where as district courts are better to have as that affects the most Citizens. I think this is a bad deal.
Keep your eye on the ball.
To file an appeal at the Federal level starts out just to file 20 to 100k depending on the case, cash up front before anything is filed.
The art of the deal is just beginning.
