California is becoming increasingly tangled in the nationwide fight over whether transgender college athletes should be allowed to compete on teams of their gender identity. Just how much can state laws and policies protect its players?

Despite all of this, transgender athletes in California are still susceptible to legal and social pressures playing out across the country. Twenty-six states ban transgender women from competing in women’s sports at any level. In some of those states, lawsuits against national athletics organizations are sweeping California into the battle.

All opposing teams can end this insanity. Just forfeit - do not allow girls to play against tranny boys. Short term loss, long term gain.
If Democrats want to keep dying on the “tranny men in girls sports” hill, Republicans should allow and encourage them.
Californias war on women continues. Long past time to make gender reassignment illegal like selling a kidney. Impersonating the other sex to get a scholarship should be considered and prosecuted as fraud and a registered sex crime. It’s long past time to send the freak show packing

I was watching a "this is real LA" video. It looks like all the stores on Rodeo Drive are closed, and it looks like a ghost town.

And in doing so it provides zero protections of any sort for females forced to compete with biological males.
As usual California has the shoe on the wrong foot.
IIRC-—ALL women’s volleyball teams in the Mountain West Conference have forfeited against games with San Jose State-—which has a MALE on their team.
THEY MAY WIN the Conference without playing any games,.
Once in a while, I hear about the reverse. I recall reading about a female to male Tran Kick-Boxer, and separately, a female to male wrestler in high school. That’s still the exception to the rule.
That female to male high school wrestler was allowed to be on male hormones, which would normally (is that a word anymore?) disqualify a competitor.
Well, boo-hoo-hoo. How about all those women who have been grievously injured by men pretending to be women?

Or the women who have lost scholarships, 1st places, awards and accolades to men pretending to be women:

But preserving the feelings of mentally ill males who think they are women is far more important than women being unfairly denied athletic opportunities or being severely injured.

indeed ... this guys-in-dresses playing sports against real females could be ended in a couple of seconds if ALL real females on ALL sports teams went on strike ...

The mentally ill. Like all of them.
They already have opportunities
Everyone of these Trans-females (to use their term) have the opportunity to compete as men.
But of course they would never make the team.
They compete as women because they are not good enough to compete as men.
