Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said President-elect Trump’s transition into the White House “is not going to look anything like it did in 2017.”
“The level of sophistication on the issues is so far beyond what it was in 2017,” Mulvaney told “The Hill” host Blake Burman on NewsNation on Monday.
“This is not going to look anything like it did in 2017. This is going to be Trump 1.0 on steroids,” he added in response to Trump’s various position announcements in the last few days.
The incoming president announced Sunday that immigration enforcement veteran Tom Homan would serve as his “border czar” — a role overseeing border security in the north and south. Within days of his presidential victory, he tapped political strategist Susie Wiles to serve as his chief of staff, making her the first woman to hold the position.
He has also announced his intention to nominate Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to serve as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) as his national security adviser and former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) to head the Environmental Protection Agency. Trump is also expected to name Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) as secretary of State and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) to lead the Department of Homeland Security.

He can do as he pleases, he is not running for a second term, so he can tell his opposition to screw off.
Milei has provided the blueprint.
2017 was orientation. Now he knows who is who. No mistakes. That was a keep your enemies close operation I imaigine
I've seen no formal announcement. Where has Juliann seen one?
This time around there are fewer appointees planning to undermine him. In many ways this is better than winning 2020 because now Trump knows who will really support his agenda. Just continuing on with half hearted support was going to be a problem.
Trump, the final frontier
These are the stories of the Trump Trek Enterprise
His four-year mission
To destroy corruption
To seek out a new political life
And build a great civilization
To boldly go where no politician has gone before

I’ve looked at Kristi Noem’s and Marco Rubio’s X feeds and neither of them mention any appointment to the Trump admin.
Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) as his national security adviser
I don’t see that on DJT’s Truth Social
Waltz and Rubio hopefully remain only rumors:
He’s had four long years to meticulously plan his actions.
And President Trump is not one to procrastinate when it’s time to get to work!
Trump no longer listens to the DEEP STATE for advice.
The Obama-Bush-Holder-Rove empire is over.

There will be none
Trump appointees in the first term were not hired for the same purposes that the second term appointees will be coming on for
Remember, Trump had an abbreviate transition in 2017 because the Dems played every dirty trick they could keeping the election going until Dec 16, 2016
It’s not the Dems he needs to keep an eye on...
... it’s the RINO’s.
Mitch the Turtle cannot leave fast enough.
I want TRUMP to find people who WILL GO AFTER BIDEN CORRUPTION FAMILY-—WITH NO HOLDS BARRED.
BUT—KEEP THIS A SURPRISE UNTIL THEY HAVE ENOUGH INFO TO CLOSE DOWN BANK ACCOUNTS AND GRAB ASSETS. HUNTER EVEN HAS BANK ACCOUNT IN MALTA-——
HAVE subpoenas for everything & do a SUDDEN SWEEP...
INFORM COUNTRIES: HIDING BIDEN $$$$$ THAT they better give up info & assets-—OR ELSE.
KEEP THIS ALL UNDER WRAPS UNTIL JAN 22, 2025.
Well that’s good news, because in retrospect, there were a few horrible picks.
Mulvaney viciously turned on Trump and deserves not a millisecond of attention.
