Rasmussen Reports has emerged once again as one of the most accurate pollsters of the presidential race — but the Republican Party needs to study why it struggled to win more downticket races, pollster Mark Mitchell says.
Rasmussen’s final election poll showed that Donald Trump was ahead of Kamala Harris nationwide by 3 points. In the end, he won the popular vote by just over two points. Rasmussen’s polls also suggested that Trump was ahead slightly in all seven of the “battleground” states; Trump ended up sweeping all seven en route to victory on Nov. 5.
“I think he’s going to surprise people in the swing states by being to the right of the polls,” Mitchell said on Nov. 2.

There is some possibility that the Democrats knew Kamala would lose and just didn’t see the point in cheating for her. But they wanted to limit was Trump could do, so the Democrats may have decided to cheat in the down ticket races instead.
I expect some investigations in the slow counting areas.
When they saw the near landslide Trump was getting they had to stop the bleeding on all the down ballot candidates
One issue with the House was that Democrats won in 2020 up and down the ticket, and so had the power to gerrymander at the state level. So, like in the 2010’s for the GOP, the Dems will have a structural advantage in the House for the 2020’s.
That’s part of it. Hovde didn’t get any help either from what I understand.
And they are still counting. I expect they will count until Trump falls below 50% (he is now 50.4%) and maybe they can even get Kamala the popular vote. It is maddening. The country needs to fix how we vote and count in Federal elections.
Trump is America First.
Those folk running down ticket are not.
They just be professional politicians looking to score an office and milk it for all its worth.
The Republican Wing of the Uniparty will NEVER fully embrace Trump or his America First movement.
They like most low lifes seeking public offices will seek to exploit Trump’s popularity for how it can benefit him.
Trump’s knows his best hope to get done what he wants to get done is to lean on folk like Elon Musk and RFK Jr. who already have made their bones.
Well, it certainly is going on in my state of Arizona as I type this! Steven Richter is part of the problem-atleast he is a lame duck, but is taking out his bitterness on slow walking the voting so someone can add more votes especially in Pima County. how does the vote count go up in 2 hours? then there is the ballot curing (when the signatures do not match) that should have ended at 5 pm last night, and Harmeet Dhillon the new RNC Lawyer brought in about a month ago filed papers in AZ Supreme Court yesterday to stop anymore ballot curing. We’ll see if they did anything.
Trump is Trump, standard issue Republicans are garden variety crooked politicians. They enrich themselves and the hoi polloi pays for it.

No one “called” anything. The explanation for why the ‘Rats are winning seats is devoid of facts, like the one you so clearly pointed out.
America needs to free its chained press, and the rest need an enema to clear their minds.
Part of the reason for the downticket stall: “I’m voting for Trump because the country is a mess. I’m also voting for my Democrat Congressman because he’s a good guy.”
But if you ask, “Why is your Democrat Congressman a good guy?” - they couldn’t tell you.

I was sort of disappointed that I never heard Trump say, voting for me is great, but to change things, I need you to vote for Republicans for the House and Senate.
He may have said it and I missed it, bit I don’t think there was enough emphasis on it.
Two winnable races against one that was extremely unlikely. McConnell is a scumbag of the highest order.
They also clearly don’t know or understand how the federal government works - if the president doesn’t have both houses of congress behind him he is limited in what he can do. Ask them about that. Suggest they readd the constitution - it’s only a 30 min read even if their lips move while doing it. Other can do it more quickly.

My theory is that the Democrat leadership [which DOESN'T include KamaLOL, Joe Biden or Touchdown Timmy] knew that some serious economic hits were coming in 2025 [the Medicare premiums spike being one], and wanted to pin that on Trump and the Republicans.
Hence, the House strategy and the Senate strategy.

There are Trump Democrats. Lots of them. They love Trump, but they don’t love Republicans the way you do, in fact, usually they hate them.
