Donald Trump Was Closer to Winning New York than Kamala Harris Was Florida

New York might be a 2028 swing state due to the ongoing political realignment under President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump lost New York by fewer votes than Vice President Kamala Harris lost Florida.

Harris lost Florida by a margin of 1,428,188 votes, while Trump lost New York by a margin of only 904,492, according to the New York Times on Friday with more than 95 percent of the vote counted.

The data is a strong indicator of the political realignment under Trump, a massive problem for Democrats who have counted on the black, Latino, and blue-collar vote to win elections.

Before Trump won the presidency in 2016, the Republican Party appeared to be the party of big business and corporate interests. All that changed under Trump. The Republican party is now a populist, economic nationalist force focused on increasing the wages of the American worker.

Same with Illinois. Biden won IL by 17 points. 2024 Harris 8 points. Not saying IL will be a swing state but its a start.

If the Democrats keep calling everyone Nazis, fascists, deplorables, garbage they can manage to lose even their past slam dunk states in future years.

I predict California in the near future will be a swing state. If the GOP tries, that is.

I wish that the counties that keep dragging Virginia into the D camp were transferred over to Maryland so that the rest of the state can vote reliably R in future elections.

If CA gets voter ID and ends vote by mail, it could be done.

"...Before Trump won the presidency in 2016, the Republican Party appeared to be the party of big business and corporate interests..."

I remember reading years ago, that most of the money donated to Republicans arrived in small amounts, while most of the money going to Democrats came in via a much smaller number of high-dollar contributions. And (obviously) there are an awful lot of wealthy Democrat activists and politicians. Appearances can be deceiving - at times, they're just part of a dominant narrative....

NY is a vote fraud state now. They have mail in ballots, Early voting, a riggable voter registration data base, and digital poll books connected to the internet. And plenty of lefties willing to cast votes other than their own. The perfect combination to manufacture votes. They can use that system at whatever degree they need to.

NJ: 4 points.

I have contacted Lara Trump and urged her, after a little R&R, to set up an “Atlantic Coast Project” aimed at NJ, NY, MD, VA, and NH under Scott Presler’s voter reg team. No, all won’t come to us. But if he can make even remotely the same progress as he did in PA, two or three will fall next time.

No reason to think Rs can’t expand into blue Northeast.

NJ NY & NH best possibilities.

If Arizona really wants a solid Republican in the senate, then they need to recruit either Alice Cooper or Kurt Warner to run against astroNUT Mark Kelly for his senate seat in 2 years!

I live in New York

What was once “The Empire State” and the greatest manufacturer and innovator in the world now lives on skimmings from Wall Street trading, and government spending in all its various forms. It is an eastern-european style one-party state, where the dead-hand of government is everywhere - and it snows a lot

Places like NY, IL and CA are in fact VERY politically fragile.

They basically survive on the ability of government to continue to spend and grow debt exponentially.

When that hits a bump, their politics will crash.

* anytime I refer to Trump, it’s for brevity. No disrespect intended. Note\think = Pres. Trump
They are comparing Harris to Biden.
Compare Trump to Harris

Florida had more voters. Difference vs. NY is minimal

None of these are “official” final totals.

FL
Ballots = 10877474
Trump = 42.97%
Harris = 56.11%

NY
Ballots = 7879541
Trump = 43.61%
Harris = 55.10%

Illinois ? Good Luck with that. (10 counties not reported)
Ballots = 5230972
Trump = 44.68
Harris = 53.65
only flip so far is to Trump = Winnebago County

The only close constant ?
Ballots
2020 Trump = 74,225,926
2024 Trump = 73,385,330 (so far)

Sorry NY has always been vote fudging. Tammany hall was the pinnacle but it has never stopped.
