In the wake of Donald Trump’s victory Tuesday, a broad coalition of public and private sector leaders, including county officials, law enforcement, health care leaders and educators, is pledging to protect Santa Cruz County’s immigrants. In Watsonville, nonprofit organizations are beginning to navigate the potential impacts a second Trump presidency could have on the city’s large undocumented population and how they’ll reassure the community the next four years.

Say goodbye to all federal funds
Trump 2.0 and a GOP Congress can - and should - cut off all federal aid to noncitizens. And cut off all federal money to municipalities that harbor illegals.
So if the fine folks in Santa Cruz and elsewhere want to protect the illegals, let them do so without my money.

Kalifornia is positioning itself to be the anti-U.S. They need to be taken down several notches.
There is no need to protect immigrants. They have legal status and would not be at all bothered by a Trump Presidency.

Yeah, sure. Right up to the moment the agents break down the door, douse you with pepper spray, and drag your ass outside. Then, while you’re wailing in pain on the ground they will walk over you, arrest the illegal aliens you are harboring in your homes or institutions, then drive the whole lot of you to the local commands post for processing.
I live in Santa Cruz County
This election they hit us with school bonds, hospital bonds, and more. Tax the property owning citizen and hand it over to the illegals. Newxom gave the illegals total Med-Cal this year. Our local hospital is going bankrupt. Go figure.

To use democrat parlance this is a crisis too good to waste. In getting rid of federal money for illegals we have a chance to close down all kinds of grants and give aways. Don’t just cut defiant governments off from programs, kill entire programs.

Isn’t there something illegal about aiding and abetting criminals ??? Arrest anyone who does so.
If the GOP would ever have simply had the guts to enforce existing Federal law 95% of the problem would go away. And so would their biggest donors, but that's an occupational hazard.
