Democrat Adam Frisch on Wednesday afternoon conceded to Jeff Hurd in the race to fill the seat of outgoing Rep. Lauren Boebert in Colorado's 3rd Congressional District. Hurd is a Republican from Grand Junction who spent his working life as both an attorney and small business owner before deciding recently to become a politician.

...

CD3 covers much of Colorado's Western Slope as well as parts of southern Colorado, including the city of Pueblo. After a very close race for U.S. House there 2 years ago, Boebert decided to change districts. She moved east and was successful in her campaign for the open seat in the 4th Congressional District.

Frisch's run for Congress in the district came up short for the second straight election cycle. He lost to Boebert two years ago

...

In the Republican primary in June in CD3, Hurd won with 41% of the vote and defeated Ron Hanks and four other Republicans.

Frisch spent more (over $15 million) than any House challenger in the COUNTRY in the process of trying to buy that seat. He tried almost as hard in 2022 as well, and now has failed twice.

He can slink back to Ass-pen with the rest of the latte-liberals now, and give up on politics.

I live in Colorado Springs
Frisch started his tv ad campaign in early September.
Every time I turned on the TV there was a frisch ad. Didn't matter which channel was on or the time of day. He was on more than the personal injury attorneys.

His opening statement was always: " I won't take any corporate money" but he certainly took somebodies money.

What the hell is taking so long to count. There are still around 14 house seats where Republicans are leading and not finished counting. Most of these should be easily counted in a day, not a week.

Lauren Boebert is now my rep. I am good with that.

My wife and I had lunch a few times at the Shooters Grill in Rifle a few years ago before they had to close. I have a picture with Lauren’s mom and some of the staff sporting our sidearms beside the bar. I got my wife a ‘Shooter’s Grill’ t-shirt.

I never met Lauren, but maybe I should drop her an email and attach the photo, congratulate her, and invite her to a range day when she’s in the area.

Cool. I met Lauren at a fundraising dinner in Frederick Maryland - would have been spring 2022. A tiny girl she is. Glad that she will be around to make the Left hurt.

“He can slink back to Ass-pen with the rest of the latte-liberals now, and give up on politics.” - yeah, losing is expensive - winning is profitable.

Hurd will be good, I think. He’s not a RINO, imo.
