UPDATE: Judge Rules in Missouri Suit Against DOJ Over Poll Monitors

Late Monday night, U.S. District Court Judge Sarah Pitlyk issued her ruling on Missouri's request for a temporary restraining order as to DOJ attorneys dispatched to monitor a polling location in the City of St. Louis. Pitlyk denied Missouri's request for a TRO on the basis that the state did not adequately demonstrate that it would be irreparably harmed by allowing "two individuals at one polling place to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act." It's important to note that the proposed monitoring as to the City of St. Louis derived from a settlement agreement reached between the DOJ and the City in 2021 after ADA concerns were raised. It involved one polling place and had been implemented/followed in two prior elections, as well.

Excellent! I don't trust the DOJ in getting involved in elections. States are in charge of their election,not the federal government. I've heard of no handicapped individuals being refused the opportunity to vote.

I believe monitors would be there to facilitate fraud. Not to monitor for ADA.

This reads like she is forcing the DOJ in:

She denied the Restraining Order, meaning the DOJ is going in, as I read it.

The headline is misleading. The judge denied the state’s request for a TRO (Temporary restraining order) against the Feds. The Feds will be there.

The Biden DOJ is sending "observers" into red states to cause trouble. They will find "racism" and "sexism" or any other type of "ism" in an effort to invalidate through the courts the EC votes from these states.

All it takes ultimately is a cowardly SCOTUS to make it happen.

The state needs to park 2 lawyers and one state trooper right next to each ‘doj monitor’. Keep them company so they don’t get lonely, and don’t let them interfere in any way.

Missouri has a hard charging Secretary of State, Jay Ashcroft (recognize that surname?) who will not let the sleaze ball DOJ get away with anything. If I know anything, he has the judge’s decision already under emergency appeal as we speak.
