Amish voters in the upcoming presidential election may be an important demographic in former President Donald Trump winning Pennsylvania.
Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-PA), who grew up Amish, spoke to Fox News about how more Amish had switched from farming to running businesses, and were “becoming much more engaged politically.”
Smucker noted that people in the Amish community “love President Trump” because of “his policies,” adding that they like Trump because he is in favor of small government among many other reasons. The Republican congressman explained that the Amish are “very interested in religious liberty” and are “concerned about the border and economy.”

The Amish again eh? :)

Rep. Lloyd Smucker...
Ruh-roh. If the regime can't even count on the Amish, it's in a real jam.
The PA government never should have gone after Organic farmer Amos Miller.
I don’t think enough Amish will be voting to make a difference. Good, if they do, because almost all of them will vote for Trump. Now, get the conservative Mennonites to vote. Together with the Amish, it would be enough to make a difference. But that ain’t happening.
In the second case they are trying to claim another Amish farmer who is a gun collector is "in the business" of dealing guns because he sold an old shotgun or two. If any of y'all are collectors you know how ridiculous that is but ATF is trying to ban all private sales. They're pursuing criminal charges against him, they've seized his entire gun collection, etc.
In both cases their lawyer is Robert Barnes who one of the top lawyers in the country and a well know populist and Trump supporter. Barnes and his buddy pollster Richard Baris polled the issue of food freedom and made the Trump campaign aware of just how popular it was with the public....it was a major plank of RFK Jr's campaign. Barnes also knows RFK Jr and was one of the ones behind the scenes who worked to forge the alliance between the populist Right and the populist Left. Obviously, he's been working to make the Amish aware of which side they need to support in this election as well. He's been talking about these cases for quite a while on his Locals channel.
Or as the KGB calls them, Domestic Terrorists.
Possiblybut pres Trump is also gaining Billy with blacks, Hispanics, muslims, other ethnic groups, and even women- so it’s all gonna work together to hand him the victory if he doesn’t get chested out of the election
Kalamalama though is losing support with blacks, Muslims, jews, men, etc- bigly- both facts should be enough to ensure a “too big to cheat” scenario
But she is winning with the most powerful group of them all - White women.
Liberals zlways carry that group- not sure why as liberal ideology endangers children massively due to open borders and lgbtq indoctrination in schools- you would think that women would want a strong candidate who actually protects children, but evidently too many women have been blinded by the evil one to realize that democrats seek to destroy families, not protect them
Keep hoping you troll
If they vote they almost certainly will vote Trump, but I really don’t think PA is going to be that close.. I truly don’t. In 16. Trump won by .78 or something like that, 2020 Biden won by 1.17.
I really really don’t think this is going to be a 1 point of less election. The vibe is completely different this time.. I know I could be wrong but I just don’t see any way Harris is performing anywhere near Hillary’s numbers, let alone Biden’s.
Given both her and Trump are both in Pittsburgh on the last day of the campaign certainly could be interpreted to indicate it’s close, but I’ll be honest I really just don’t see it.
I could of course eat crow, but I really and truly don’t see any way Harris can perform near Hillary here.l
Just a few more days
Time was tell my friend
Interesting and informative post.
Plus they have so many children, they are going to be a bigger and bigger presence going forward.
I agree, the vibe seems different this time. Biden and Harris are dismal failures and most people see that. Plus the economy and immigration are very hot issues.
Some unexpected demographic issues have also come into play (e.g., young black men and hispanics voting for Trump this time around).
On top of everything else, Harris is an exceptionally weak candidate in every respect. And her key issue, abortion, isn’t the wedge issue she hoped it would be.
All this and the fact that Republican voters are highly motivated should easily put Trump over the top, assuming there are no significant voting “irregularities” that result in moving the goal posts.
I doubt they will actually vote. The minister or whoever is in charge will tell them no. I’ll ask my niece after the election.
“I doubt they will actually vote.”
They have voted before. In 2020, Amish men were seen at Trump rallies. GOP was arranging rides to the polls for them.
Scott Presler has spent a LOT of time and effort working to get the Amish registered, and will chase those ballots. At one rally he said something like “the beautiful Amish” and their large families.
He wouldn’t waste time if he thought for a minute they wouldn’t vote.
I saw a YouTube video at a farmers market, and all the Amish women said they won’t vote but they will pray.
Praying is good! Can’t hurt. Hopefully, there will be people driving the husbands to the polls.
I know the Bible says to be “in the world but not of the world”, but these people take the concept of “separation” too far. They take advantage of us by depending on us to clean up the messes in the country. The very LEAST they can do, EVEN the women, is vote.
There’s a large enclave of Amish where my family is from, and they’re super nice people.
I’ve seen a couple of videos posted, allegedly of Amish men talking to the press, which I assumed were not legit. They won’t be photographed, so maybe someone was re-enacting using true verbiage, or maybe it was just fake.
