Postmarked ballots counted up to 4 days after Election Day; non-postmarked ballots up to 3 days, law says
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Nevada Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s ruling Monday, allowing mail-in ballots without postmarks received by Election Day to be counted in the days after the election.
In May, former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and national and state Republicans filed a lawsuit against the Nevada Secretary of State and several county clerks, claiming the state’s mail-in ballot deadline was unconstitutional.
Nevada state law requires all mail-in ballots to be mailed and postmarked by Election Day. There is then a four-day period after Election Day when county clerks can accept the postmarked ballots and process them. If the ballot does not have a postmark, county clerks can process ballots up to three days after Election Day.
As of Sunday night, data showed that Nearly 400 Clark County mail-in ballots arrived without signatures. More than 4,600 ballots had signatures that did not match the one on file.

Make it Too Big To Rig
Welp. There goes Nevada.
Maybe even years later. I hear they have a bunch of uncounted Goldwater votes.
Print ‘em up boys!! Yee-Haa! There’s no stopping Kamala now!
Not possible. What the NV supreme court just did is an example why.
The CRIMINALS are not even trying to hide the steal
I suggest we beat them at their own game. I suggest we set up a ballot-center where we churn out a few tens of millions of ballots that we submit after election day.
Maybe even a few hundred million.
Why is the assumption two will not play this game?
Fantastic - now manipulators can print up all the ballots they need and deliver them anytime. They don’t even need to go through the post office!
Why not just have people write “Democrat” on the envelope in order to know which votes to count?
That is just wrong. I hope that they take this to the US Supreme Court since the Nevada court seems to get this wrong.
What is the point of a postmark if it’s not for date registration? Did the US postal system eliminate postmark dates on envelopes is that the problem?
I would think they would also have to follow Nevada statutes on elections, but of course that did not matter in 2020 because of Covid. They use that to get around the rules and laws and almost every state.
What percent of mail does not get a postmark?
I don’t think I have ever seen mail with out postmark?
Isn’t post mark the very definition of mail?

As I understand the ruling, otherwise legit ballots lacking a post mark that are received before the end of voting on election day can be counted.
This is exactly the way it’s done in Arizona and a lot of other states
Probably not great policy but not the end of the world.
Because Republicans will be prosecuted and punished unfairly while Democrats will be fined and released.
and people think Trump is going to be back in the WH again. Sorry folks, not going to happen.
Before you say it, I will absolutely be voting for him no matter how futile it is. My main reason to vote is for my state Republican reps. Got to keep my state red.
Why not 3 or 4 weeks?…
If I’m reading this right, NSC is saying that the lack of a postmark on ballots received by Election Day doesn’t void the ballot.
Now, I’m not discounting the possibility of election fraud, but sneaking phony ballots into the mail in large numbers doesn’t seem like a likely scenario.
This is for hand delivered mail in ballots that are dropped off to voting locations by hand on election day.
This is what they are up to and it is diabolical. We cannot allow them to get away with this.
Problem is we play lawfully, they do not.

The Democrats have control of the DOJ/FBI/AG, thus they will aggressively enforce the law when Republicans so much as J walk.
