Millionaire investor and “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary clashed with CNN panelists after he blasted the Democratic Party Thursday for how it selected Vice President Kamala Harris as their nominee.
O’Leary said on “CNN NewsNight” that after watching her at their town hall the night before, Democrats should have some concerns about how she ended up being the nominee.
He said he was struck by how “only 90 days ago, Pelosi went to Biden and said, ‘You need to step aside’ and convinced him to do so. He made the decision, and he did actually ask her, and we’ve now learned this, ‘Is she the right person to drive this home?’ He questioned that. He could have said, ‘We need to run a process in order for me to make this move,’ but they decided not to. I don’t know who ‘they’ is. Was it Obama? Was it Pelosi? I don’t care who it was.”

I believe he is entirely correct. She was not on any primary ballot as the front man (Presidential Candidate) and no common citizens were able to make a choice between her or others.
IMO, a huge overstep of party power with a whole lot of leftist states’ compliance even against their own laws.
Ad hominem attacks are a sure sign she lost the debate.
Also, Canadian-born O’Leady has done so much more for American businesses and entrepreneurs than that smug spinster has ever done for this country.

They all knew Biden was impaired in January 2024. He should have stepped aside so a proper primary could have been conducted. Now they have to live with mess. A socialistic system never works. This is not the USSR.
They couldn’t because she couldn’t come close to winning a primary and Obama and Pelosi needed someone dumb so they could continue to destroy the country.
It certainly WAS an end run on the system. Let’s see a Conservative try that one!

Which phase of the project does this article reflect?
Well, to give credit - that one chicka was correct in that these are PARTY rules, and not codified laws.
That being said - they clearly don’t give a crap about even their own voters or their opinions and wants. The Democrat voter (and a whole lot of Republican voters) are considered stupid sheep that need to be herded to the polls for a final ritual display of needless ‘citizen participation’.
I must reluctantly say that O’Leary is wrong here. Harris is a terrible candidate (we all know that). But her nomination was in no way improper. The D delegates were selected by the D voters. And the D delegates wanted Harris.
What would the alternative be is a party’s delegate leader withdraws or dies? You can’t go back and hold new primaries. Perhaps the nomination could go to the second-place finisher. But suppose that person only got 10% of the primary vote. That’s no mandate.
Both parties have rules in place. The delegates become free agents. That seems like the best of all the imperfect options.
The real scandal is how Biden was so easily pushed aside.

The bottom line is the Democratic Party propagandizes incessantly about how they are in favor of “democracy” and then every chance they get they use Stalinist or Fascist tactics.
The claim that Biden voluntarily stepped aside is just that—a claim.
Zero evidence supports it.
He was insisting he would never drop out of the race and viciously attacking anyone who said otherwise.
Chris Coons, his campaign manager, continued that message and actually cried when he was told of Biden withdrawing.
It looked like a coup to me and many others.
That is just the Biden piece—and I am getting tired to typing....
“Their democracy” (communism) is an outright threat to our Constitutional Republic.
No, the biggest scandal is that the racist, misogynist democrat party did not install a black woman as president at least 2 years ago when all knew Biden was not fit to be POTUS.
