Adding insult to injury, a court ordered that the state pay for the Nigerian national to be fitted with a prosthetic leg.

That’s a pretty good pirate name. The Danish taxpayers can feel good about that at least — that they’re giving a peg leg to a guy who’s authentically piratey.
I don’t have a problem with this, he was misguided and has totally learned his lesson.
I am sure he will turn out to be a productive member of society there.
Maybe he will have a children’s show about pirates and make public service announcements in his home country about how cold it is in Norway, and how he has to eat radioactive ground reindeer meat
