An employee at a cannabis dispensary in North Portland is accused of fatally shooting two people who attempted to rob the business last week.
Jason Steiner, 34, turned himself in to Portland police Wednesday and was booked into Multnomah County’s downtown jail on allegations of two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. Last week’s shooting happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. The North Portland store had been targeted by at least four previous armed robberies since 2022, state records show.
In June of this year, one employee was working when five people allegedly entered the store with guns and stole about $11,000 worth of marijuana products and cash, according to the reports.

Uh....what part of this was "unlawful use of a weapon"?
(Assuming the robbers were armed)

Were the robbers there to steal money? Or pot?
All of the above?

Well, the robbers lived up to several similar clichés, including: “Play stupid games, and win stupid prizes.” as well as FAFO.

I know it's hard to get to the fifth sentence in the excerpts, but it reads "five people allegedly entered the store with guns."

It’s Portland, the point of reference proving that in some places, civilization goes backward. The left owns it. The left ruined it, and may the left die in it...painfully.

This is the perfect example why you shouldn’t buy the scam concealed carry insurance for using your weapon.
As soon as you are charged with something, their terms and conditions say if you’re charged with a crime, they don’t have to defend you. Worthlesss.
The punishment is the process, and eventually this guy will walk, but it will take a lot of of money and a lot of time while they run him through the system.

A couple of weeks ago there was a pro Israel rally in Massachusetts during which an unwashed, unhinged, terrorism supporter rushed one of the pro Israel guys and started pummeling him. The guy being attacked shot the terrorist lover and is now being charged with attempted murder (the attacker didn't die) by our bull dyke Attorney General.
The *entire* thing's on video and there's *no* doubt that it was self defense.
That's what can happen when you live in a state run by Maoists.

If they were there to set up a drum circle, the shootings would have been justifiable.

The democrats may be right about the constitution being outdated—the 2nd amendment needs to be amended to: the right to bear arms AND THE USE OF THEM IN SELF DEFENSE.
Or a new amendment that affirms the right to defend yourself.
