'We've given Republicans about $340,000 truth be told, so it's like you know people say the Democratic party is the party of working people, but they're actually bought and paid for by big tech,' O'Brien explained.

My bro in law was a teamster for his entire career. When he retired he started questioning what had been dictated politically all those years. He’s now more conservative than I am and a full on Trumpster. Letters from Trump etc. Don’t always believe the union big wigs!

When I was a union member in the United Assocation of Plumbers and Steamfitters, I would argue with fellow members how the Dems talk out their asses about being for the working man, while they were taking money from the environmental groups that wanted to shut our work down (nuke plants, coal plants, chemical and oil refineries) and once they got elected they always sided with the environmental groups.

In the early 80’s I was in The International Laborers Union, AfL/CIO. Our leadership told us in public to vote for Carter but privately told us to vote for Reagan.

I would get a monthly UA Journal and in the 1984 election issue it recommended voting for the candidate that would be the best for your family and community. They knew Mondale was a dog, but couldn’t publicly endorse Reagan.
