When it comes to elitists in America, a recent study has shown that they are wildly out of touch with the average, everyday American people on a lot of issues such as freedom and the economy.
A project was recently conducted by prominent pollster Scott Rasmussen titled "Elite 1 Percent" goes into detail about who the one percent are and what their views are regarding American policies.
According to the project, the elite one percent live in densely populated urban areas, make over $150K a year and have a postgraduate degree.
"The views and influence of the Elite 1% may be the root cause of the political toxicity in our nation today," Rasmussen wrote on the social media platform, X. "Their underlying attitudes reflect an implicit rejection of the ideal that governments derive their only just authority from the consent of the governed." Some of the basics that Rasmussen observed is that the "elites" identify as Democrats, by 73%, more than half of them being between the ages of 35 and 54.
Rasmussen found in his study that 47% of the elite one percent think that Americans have "too much freedom."
“The Elite 1% wield a tremendous amount of institutional power but are wildly out of touch with the nation they want to rule," he said.
“Over the years they have built institutions and mechanisms of regulatory power that are immune to the checks and balances of elections. Worse still, these same elites own, operate, and control a large majority of media outlets, blocking out the true voice of the American people and broadcasting their own out of touch viewpoints," he continued.
Another difference between everyday Americans and the elite one percent is 70% of the elite trust the government to make the right decisions.

Driven mad by an excess of money and power, they have lost all grip on reality.
The fact that they want to "rule" rather than "represent" says it all.
To them Nations and Peoples are “outdated” concepts.
America isn’t ruled... it’s governed
F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote that the rich “are different from you and me,”
and Ernest Hemingway supposedly retorted,
“Yes, they have more money.”
It didn't end well.
Easy. Housing? Meh. Gas? Meh! Groceries? Juanita does the shopping. Electricity? Meh! Water? Meh! We all know the drill.
‘...the elite one percent live in densely populated urban areas, make over $150K a year and have a postgraduate degree...”
And that degree comes from courses that give only As, and could be completed by dolts, idiots, and DEI majors.
They obviously know nothing about history, economics, sociology, etc.
I thought 150K sounded low.
Annual Incomes of Top Earners
Data from tax year 2021 (as reported on Americans’ 2022 tax returns), shows that taxpayers in the top 1% had adjusted gross income (AGIs) of at least $682,577, according to an analysis by the Tax Foundation. Those in the top 5% had AGIs of at least $252,840 while breaking into the top 10% required an income of at least $169,800.

Didn’t know my wife and I were in the 1%. But I can tell you we fit none of characteristics listed.
No kidding the Inner Party has different views than the proles.
1% is a meaningless place to draw a line and claim people vary if above or below it. Wealth is a continuum. Ditch diggers, plumbers, civil engineers, builders, people in the trash biz and countless others become one percenters at $11 million. They have more in common with the middle class than the people worth $100mm to billionaires.
Yep, see my #14. I’ve known plenty of quiet 1%ers who appeared to be middle or upper middle class if you looked at their lifestyles. Some of them spent a lot of money, just not on showy things the neighbors would notice.
The wealthy live in a different country.
They are all for public schools and DEI
Except for them and their Lil Darlins
that’s also why they hate Trump, can’t be bought!
I remember a Hollywood inside wrote a book about the Hollywood studio system. His best line was “they Talk like hippies, and act like the mafia!”.
Ya think!?
That’s why they have to spend billions to steal elections.
