A federal judge has ruled that it would be unconstitutional for an Indiana prison to deny a transgender inmate sex reassignment surgery following the inmate's lawsuit against the facility.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sued the Indiana Department of Corrections last year on behalf of a transgender inmate, Jonathan C. Richardson, also known as Autumn Cordellionè, who was convicted of strangling his 11-month-old stepdaughter to death in 2001.
Indiana law, however, prohibits the Department of Corrections from using taxpayer dollars to fund sex reassignment surgeries for inmates. However, the ACLU argues in the lawsuit, filed on Aug. 28, 2023, that the law is a violation of the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition of "cruel and unusual punishment."

I sat in a courtroom and watched a black female judge send a black man to prison until he came up with child support. He said he’d lost his job. She said that’s no excuse. He was led off by an officer. My lawyer said she could keep in jail until hell froze over. And he thought this particular judge was unbelievably unjust and hated men. He also said some of her decisions were completely arbitrary and, yes, if you could afford a lawyer and appeal to a higher court, you might get them reversed, or you might not. But few people can afford $500 per hour.
“Send him a Hezbollah beeper.”

Cut off his hands first. Then do the reassignment surgery with a dull knife and no anesthesia. Then cut off his head.
This piece of sh*t Judge needs to have transgender surgery performed on *HIM*.
These type judges need to be dragged off the bench and into the street to be beaten.
Judges have far too much power, and many are far too incompetent/corrupt to wield it.

That's all you need to know to determine any particular judge is likely a piece of sh*t who needs to be beaten and thrown off the bench.
These corrupt/loony judges are so predictable most of the time. They will always decide *WRONG*.

The 14th amendment says "equal application of the law", and I've always thought that should be interpreted as the government pays for all the lawyers, and nobody should be able to get a lawyer better than anyone else's lawyer.
If anything in this nation should be socialized, it is the legal system. The law should be no respecter of persons or wealth. It should meet out the same justice to everyone who is equal under the law.

I suspect that the black female judges are in those positions because (horrors!) we don’t have enough black, female judges. So some black woman with little or no background other than being a democrat suddenly becomes a judge. A couple in Tallahassee were appointed by Democrat governors.
The one I had experience with seemed like she was channeling a hands-on-hips, pouting-lower-lip black female TV judge. She made lame attempts at sarcastic “humor” which was definitely sarcasm but would have required a laugh track to be recognized as an attempt at humor. She reminded me of a character in the Red Fox show where he ran a junkyard. Anytime my lawyer quoted law she’d interrupt and say things like, “I tell you da’ law. D’ law be what I say.” Finally, she forbade him to speak at all, leaving me with no attorney. I wasn’t allowed to speak either. Fortunately, my issue got moved to arbitration. Smart move by my attorney. He said if I ended up in front of that judge again things would get very bad and very expensive.
Wow. Pretty dramatic stuff. Here in CA, after a trial for contempt, the maximum penalty is jail, not prison, maximum 5 days for each month not paid. You can always collect support, but the statute of limitations for contempt is 3 years. So you could still your kids for three years, get prosecuted for contempt, get 180 days, time credit for half, so serve 90 days. State law suspends child support during the period you’re in jail and a whopping ten months thereafter. So serve your 90 days, get ten months free, don’t pay for three years, then do another ninety days. Don’t get me wrong. This never actually happens, but that’s the maximum exposure
How do you know you had a good dad? At least a couple times a year he would warn you " don't tell yer mom" and he let you take a sip off his beer after a hard days work.
Does the State have to fund all cosmetic surgeries?
Face lifts?
Butt enhancements?
Tummy tucks?
