The IDF battered Hezbollah with the largest attack since the Second Lebanon War (2006) on Monday. The attack was broken down roughly into four massive rounds of air strikes against rockets and other assets. The Iranian proxy group tried hard to fight back but had very limited success in relative terms.
The figures from Monday’s attacks, along with the days preceding, were staggering and also led to enormous waves of evacuations of Lebanese civilians from both southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley area.
The IDF struck over 1,300 targets in around 650 sorties; the Lebanese Health Ministry estimated well over 1,200 wounded and close to 350 dead.

“enormous waves of evacuations of Lebanese civilians from both southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley area”
More refugees for Europe and the USA. 😔
LGBQT folks are really gonna be mad.
Maybe Syria will send up a few dozen Russian MiGs to challenge the IAF like they did 42 years ago in the Bekaa Valley Turkey Shoot (Operation Mole Cricket 19): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mole_Cricket_19
Most one-sided large-scale dogfight in military history.
Losses for Syria: 82–86 MiGs shot down and
29 SAM batteries destroyed.
Losses for Israel: Zero.
The sweet dreams of Dresden.
US needs to do the same to Iran.
Keep it up Israel!
But AOC told Israel to stop!
This sounds like a good start.
> But AOC told Israel to stop! <
If AOC were president in 1941, today I’d be dodging Japanese Zeroes on my way to the mailbox.
Not bad for one day, keep it up. Settle the family's business.
As of 4-5 EDT, IDF promising even more severe strikes “shortly”. That would 11:00 PM to 12:00 midnight or later in Lebanon.
Sounds a lot like “don’t”. Lol.
Lol… The IDF has just been handing out haymakers since October 7
The pager strikes were just the opening salvo
That would also let the IDF know where some storage sites might be that they didn't know about. Just have to watch where the heaviest evacs were taking place.
Agree. That’s a major card to play. Means that they have planned a sequence of moves to degrade Hezbollah’s military effectiveness.
Hezbollah is explicitly telling Israel that it is going to destroy the Jewish state and it's resources are many times that of Hamas.
Israel has been forced to mobilize for war, Hezbollah has already forced Israel to evacuate it's civilian population from the Northern Israel and Israel has executed a decapitation strike that gives them a once in generation opportunity to defeat Hezbollah
Time for Israel to do to the Hezbollah missile infrastructure what is has done to the Hamas tunnel networks.
Good times!
Without their pagers and walkie talkies, Hezbollah may be having a difficult time communicating and organizing a defense.
