“”””What law allows non-citizens or non-legal residents to vote in federal elections?””””
There is no law that allows non-citizens to vote in federal elections.
The problem is the FEDERAL VOTER REGISTRATION FORM where a person only has to illegally check the box stating they are a citizen of the USA.
So if you are a foreign invader illegally in the USA, then what do you have to lose if you check the box that you are a citizen?
And given the fact that very few non-citizens are ever prosecuted for claiming to be a citizen, then what is to stop non-citizens from registering to vote????
Thanks, and OK, that makes sense even if the federal form is an insufficient gate. But why would any state allow such a compromise to their voter roles and how is AZ managing the result? Does this mean there are two tiers of voter roles in AZ or does it mean an illegal is welcome to fill out the federal form but they are not added to any AZ voter role?
