DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Joe Wiederien was an unlikely candidate to challenge a Republican congressman in one of the nation’s most competitive House districts.
A fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump, Wiederien was registered as a Republican until months earlier. A debilitating stroke had left him unable to drive. He had never run for office. For a time, he couldn’t vote because of a felony conviction.

Does anyone know how these “far right” independents are doing in the polls? I had originally assumed from the headline that they were referring to “far right” Republican candidates but it turns out that they’re talking about “far right” pro-MAGA pro-Trump supporters who are running as third party Independents. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the circumstances
Are the Republican candidates in the districts RINO’s or are they also Trump/MAGA supporters? Are these traditionally Republican districts or Democrat districts and how are the Republican candidates polling? The article is suggesting that these candidates are being encouraged to run to encourage vote splitting among conservative voters.

2. Believes we should NOT goad China into seizing Taiwan
3. Believes we have no business in Ukraine
4. Believes that ONLY men and women should marry
5. Believes that boys should NOT be showering with girls
6. Likes Trump

I wish there really existed a “far right” in America.
Further, I wish it was as vicious, brutal, dangerous, and big as the “moderate” (truly, far) left makes it out to be.
Maybe the leftist radicals (aka Democrats) will imagine, speak, will, and provoke this “far right” into existence.
