This goes back a few months to when Israel assassinated that guy in Lebanon by tracking his cellphone ... Hezbollah uses them so Israel can't track them

Gold Apollo, the Taiwanese company that owns the trademark used on the Hezbollah pagers, publicly denies having made or having anything else to do with the exploding pagers.

Obviously desperate to deflect blame, Apollo Gold also mentioned there’s a company in Hungary that they have licensed to build some of their products.

It also bears mention that this has little to do with killing a few splodybots, this is a strategy to disrupt Hezbollah command & control. Because how do you control your army when anything you touch that runs on batteries might kill you for using it.

But this condition won’t last forever, and Israel isn’t likely to squander the limited opportunity they just created for themselves, which means they probably are on the verge of launching a more direct (and probably large-scale) attack.

Without the ability to effectively coordinate a defense, it becomes a turkey shoot for Israel.
