Is Delta the airline that’s full plummet ahead with DEI?

They look glad they at least walked away from the landing...

I believe that would be United Airlines.
To: Angelino97
The airline said: 'We sincerely apologize to our customers for their experience on flight 1203 on September 15. The flight crew followed procedures to return to SLC where our teams on the ground supported our customers with their immediate needs.' Apologize?
How about pay medical bills?
At least.

SLC is the creepiest airport I’ve ever been to.

Delta Airlines wrote in a statement that the Boeing 737-900 aircraft had to return to Salt Lake City
because of pressurization issues. Yeah, no kidding 🤦♀️

Since they’re smiling they should be charged more for the experience.
Or maybe they’re smiling because they’re thinking of the lawsuit.

In military pilot training, students are taken to simulated high altitudes in a chamber (inside - high pressure as when on land). The chamber then rapidly evacuates the air to create a pressurization failure). We are taught to simply not try to hold our air in and let the pressures equalize. The only time that rapid depressurization is a problem is when the ears are clogged. Not making an excuse for the plane’s pressurization failure. Since the plane was a Boeing, the comments will blame the plane, but given maintenance of all types lately, I’d hold judgement.

Will the ear drums heal afterwards?

My eardrum broke when I was a child. It’s excruciating pain. I find it strange these two are smiling.

Correct. Heard about it, now that you mention it. Might be a contender.
Like every other “pubic space,” they’re all making my skin crawl lately.

Eardrums will usually heal OK from “barotrauma” like this. “Usually” being the operative word.

I did that at Andrews many, many years ago, all the moisture in the air turns to fog instantly when the pressure drops
