The United States sent faulty military items to Taiwan including mouldy armour and expired ammunition.

Most military equipment that suffered water damage was delivered from November 2023 through March 2024....

Photos clearly show damaged pallets and mouldy body armour that arrived in Taiwan in 2023, including more than 3,000 mildewed body armour plates and 500 wet and mouldy tactical vests...

This included expired, loose, and rounds of ammunition in the wrong packaging...

The National Defense Authorization Act 2023 authorised the US president to draw down up to $1 billion from existing DoD stock to provide military assistance to Taiwan

Wouldn’t doubt that the Biden misadministration has a deal with China to hand Taiwan over, and this kind of stuff is part of it.

Same thing our communists did to Chiang Kai-shek when the nationalists were fighting the commies on the mainland. Some things never change.

With most military contractors in full embrace of DEI, we all know that most equipment would not function if it was needed for actual combat.

Ah but was shipment supervised by LGBTQ+ people? That’s all that matters to the Biden/Harris admin. Effectiveness of our military and protection of our allies are far down the list of their priorities - that is even if it is on the list.

I am not surprised. The first time I was on an aircraft flying to a real-world mission location. We open our A bag in flight to discover for training only.

.
Must be for things like TOW missiles.

Still, such crummy munitions would be better than “inflatables” for distracting a Chinese missile attack.

(Not worthless).

I haven’t heard of Ukraine getting moldy equipment. This seems specially targeted at Taiwan.

LOL! In the 70s, we were firing 8 inch howitzer rounds left over from the 40s (WWII).

Ukraine gets lots of good stuff that is old and in some cases needs to be picked through, which is a wonderful gift for them, while at the same time from the American point of view our warehouses get filled with a new generation of shiny fresh warehouse stock of ammo, missiles, and equipment, and when appropriate, updated technology and whatever modern replacement for the discontinued items we sent to Ukraine.

We get new and fresh stores, our weapon factories are humming, we don’t have to pay the exorbitant costs to dispose of the ‘end of life’ 20, 30, 40 year old stuff, and everything we are passing on is being used to do what it was built for in the first place, destroy Russian war equipment.

US sends ‘unserviceable’ military arms to Taiwan

This allows Joe and Comrade Kommie-La to claim that they stand behind Taiwan and are supplying weapons, while doing the bidding of their communist chinese masters (AND continuing to fund the Biden Crime Family with chinese payoffs).
