While Trump was frequently “fact checked” and cut off by Muir and Davis, Harris was allowed to lie freely without any pushback. The hosts refused to press her on past support for a ban on fracking, healthcare for illegal aliens and other far-left claims, and refused to fact check Harris when she falsely claimed that Trump called Neo-Nazis “very fine people” after the Charlottesville rally.
The false claim has been repeatedly debunked by major fact-checking outlets, though Harris was allowed to utter the false claim without pushback.

Well she was hiding in the basement for the most part since they removed Biden. The more evil answer was maybe the way NY Attorney General campaigned and saying “President Trump will know my name”, this is Kamala’s threat to Trump that if she wins she will destroy him.
I agree with you. Trump was back on his heels the entire evening. He was ganged up on by the three of them but what did he expect? He was reduced to disordered, meandering, repetitive answers and he looked horrible. I got the impression he hadn’t prepared at all.
I have a suggestion. Stop the stupid rallies where he preaches to the choir and bathes in their adoration. Save the money being spent on them and focus it on hard hitting ads that condemn her with her own words. We have to win this thing or this country as a constitutional republic is finished.

Why, for telling the truth?
Instead he walked into a trap, once in September and again last night. If he loses, it's his own fault. The sad thing is that our country is going down the drain with Kommie-la. (Going down the drain no matter what, but going down much faster with her in charge.)
She came across as a calm, competent alternative. That’s all she has to do for some undecided indie voters. She lied all night, but most people aren’t newsies and won’t know that. They just saw the contrast in temperament and delivery. Trump seemed angry and argumentative all night. That plays well with his base, but not with most others. They want to see someone presidential, that was not Trump last night.
He was never focused on the things that matter and that she’s weak on. He took the bait every time she goaded him, and he looked flustered and unprepared. In fact, my wife said he looked old and being older, she’s a good judge of that, and she likes Trump.

Pres Trump should have taken the opportunity to say something akin to (looking the moderators in the fsce) “You know, coming into the debate, kamala claimed that I would be citing one lie after another, but the fact is that she has done nothing but cite one lie after another, and you moderators refuse to call her put on her lies, while you call me out on known facts, and you cite long debunked claims to defend kamala.

I thought they were going to cut the microphones. More than once you could hear Kamala talk over President Trump when it was his turn to speak, and the moderators were awful with their interruptions.

Funny how no one is commenting on Harris’ face pulling. Her smug face pulling was so annoying especially in light of all the lies she told. She is lucky that Mickey and Minnie Mouse were the moderators.
