The debate moderator for the ABC News presidential debate tomorrow never criticizes anything Democrat nominee and VP Kamala Harris does, according to a new study.
The new Media Research Center (MRC) study argues that, of the “Big Three” evening newscasts, one stands out for its extreme bias for Kamala Harris and against her GOP opponent Donald Trump: ABC’s World News Tonight, anchored by David Muir. And guess who the presidential debate co-moderator is, along with ABC anchor Linsey Davis? That’s right -- it's David Muir.
The Tuesday debate will almost certainly turn into a platform for promoting and protecting Kamala Harris while undermining and smearing Donald Trump from the moderator himself. Of course, that was to be expected; but even those of us cynical about mainstream media might find the the statistics on Muir’s blatant bias sobering.
From the Media Research Center study (disclosure: I contribute content to MRC Free Speech America):
MRC analysts reviewed all 100 campaign stories that aired on ABC’s World News Tonight from the day Harris entered the race (July 21) through September 6, including weekends. Our analysts found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from reporters, anchors, voters or other non-partisan sources, with zero negative statements — none. That computes to a gravity-defying 100% positive spin score for the Vice President.
As for Trump, our analysts found just five clearly positive comments, vs. 66 negative statements, for a dismal 7 percent positive (93% negative) spin score.
MRC did note that Muir’s show sometimes quoted Republicans critiquing Harris, but he never did so himself. No reporters or “nonpartisan sources” were featured calling out Harris’s many failures.

In the NYC television market, I usually watch the local news at 6 on WABC, though they’re all basically the same. Then David Muir comes on at 6:30 and I turn it off as soon as I hear their first goofy Trump slam. Never make it past the “Tonight’s news” intro about what the top stories of the day are.
The same was said of the last debate with Bidog.
Just about anyone in the msm is fanatically pro Harris anti Trump.
I watched Hannity the nights Trump was on. Trump said he believed Harris would get the questions before hand, Trump also said he believed the moderators would be biased. Trump said he was preparing accordingly.

The entirety of the MSM strongly supports Dems but why do Republicans always accept the worst of the worst as moderators? Why don’t they just say no and insist on people who are not rabid Leftists?
After Rona McDaniel left the RNC I thought maybe there would be some improvement in the moderator selection process. I guess nothing ever changes in the GOP. Same old stupid party as ever.

Every election cycle the RNC says they will not do another Democrat-moderated debate. Yet when an election rolls around they fold and do it anyway. The candidate then gets to debate two rabid liberals in addition to their opponent. Of course, with Trump I understand their reasoning. The Republicans want to get rid of Trump just as much as the left does.
These debates may have been agreed to before Laura Trump took over the RNC helm. But, they should have put their foot down and said “no more”. Either move the debates to a more neutral platform, or have one moderator picked by each candidate.
That’s why they get paid the big money.

Trump should calmly include in his first statement the data illustrating the level of historical bias at ABC news, specifically the two moderators. Don’t attack them with childish name-calling like “fake news”, just point out that there are mountains of evidence and many examples that the MSM has completely abandoned all sense of objectivity and lies often to the American people. This is why the American population has no trust in the MSM news anymore.

You’re right, ditch the name calling and let facts expose the media for the fraud that it is.
Remember this is a candidate that fought for a seated debate with cue cards. Completely incapable of delivering a sustained and compelling message, even getting through a few sentences is a major challenge. Just let her talk.
