After days spent in a hotel Downtown preparing for a high-stakes presidential debate, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, second gentleman Douglas Emhoff, traveled to an airbase next to Pittsburgh International Airport for a stroll on Sunday night.
The Democratic nominee’s motorcade arrived at the airbase, which is used by the 171st Air Refueling Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, shortly before 5 p.m., according to pool reports.
Ms. Harris, wearing a black hat and a scarf, and Mr. Emhoff, wearing a “Harris/Walz” sweatshirt, walked the grounds of the military base in Coraopolis. When a reporter asked Ms. Harris if she was ready to debate Donald Trump on Tuesday in Philadelphia, she gave a thumbs up and responded, “Ready.”
Ms. Harris is scheduled to leave Pittsburgh on Monday afternoon for Philadelphia, where the debate will be held Tuesday.

This debate is Trump’s to win. Harris is banking on Trump saying stupid side track nonsense so she can do gotcha and aquire soundbites. If she fails, it will sink her further. It’s a tall task to disown 4 years of what she was a part of and inexplicably say she’s the “moderate” answer to change it. It’s insane but she has idiots who will vote for it.

I’ve been thinking of how Trump can elevate this debate with Harris. He does not need to comment on her personally, but tell the real issue in this competition:
“Mrs. Harris is not a serious candidate for President. She has not been a leader in any role she has played, and has shown that she will never be a leader. In this most critical time in American history, we must have a proven leader to restore the American way of life, and our position of leadership in the world.
A leader for America must represent the goals and dreams of every American. That means not constraining the economic powerhouse that is the United States. Leadership means promoting all of American industry, small business and entrepreneurship. It does not mean putting limits on energy, constricting the automobile industry, spending the wealth of future generations on useless pursuits. The American people must have the assurance that their efforts will gain them financial security for themselves and their children.
The Harris-Biden administration has also taken away our sense of freedom of expression. People have been jailed for text messages, speaking at town hall meetings, standing up for their religious principles. The FBI and IRS now can threaten any American for getting out of line. A leader must not create fear of retribution for people speaking freely.
Leadership means controlling our borders to protect our citizens and preserving our national sovereignty. Too many Americans are being hurt by drugs, crime and displacement by illegal migrants. And supporting millions of illegal immigrants with our tax dollars hurts the prospects for young people trying to seek the American Dream.
The world must be assured that the US is strong, not weak in the face of its enemies. That is the only way the rest of the world will feel protected from threats from hostile powers. It will take a strong leader to restore that respect.
Mrs. Harris will only follow the footsteps of a weak president. The American people will live in continued fear of the future with a weak leader. At this pivotal point for America, I am the only candidate who can lead this country back to its position of greatness.”
Does anyone really believe CNN has not already given her the questions? So she has had to memorize the answers, poor thing.

yes, depends on location.
How tough it is, being Vice President. If ordinary people want to go for a private stroll with their spouse, they have to take their chances in public parks. But if you are V.P. you can take your walk in a quiet part of a military base where you won’t be bothered by riff-raff or mere citizens.
As a bonus, the press will do a nice puff piece about it.
