The administration of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, has not explained how noncitizens made it onto the state's voter rolls, according to the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Minnesota GOP, which penned a letter to the state's Department of Public Safety.
Kevin Cline, election integrity counsel for the Republican National Committee, and David Hann, chairman of the Minnesota Republican Party, first wrote to the Walz administration last month flagging how a noncitizen, legally living in the state and fearful of jeopardizing his status, came forward to report receiving a primary ballot without having registered to vote.
Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner Bob Jacobson wrote back to Cline and Hann earlier this week.
His letter explained that the Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services Division (DVS) "takes many steps to ensure that only U.S. citizens’ information is forwarded to the Office of the Secretary of State." That includes reviewing only a list of certain documents that qualify as proof of citizenship to determine if an applicant is a U.S. citizen. Procedures include a second review upon issuance of the applicant’s documents to verify their classification in the system.

Walz’s actions on immigration—nearly all taken in the last two years, when Democrats had control of the state Legislature—put him squarely in the mainstream of his party. And his record is in line with the party’s goal to integrate the millions of immigrants in the U.S. illegally—most of whom have been here for decades—in the absence of help from Congress.
The record has also fueled one of the Republicans’ leading attacks against the newly minted Democratic vice-presidential nominee as a far-left, open-borders governor out of step with much of the country after years of unprecedented illegal immigration under President Biden.
It is an argument that Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris, who tops the ticket, must counter as they seek to win over undecided voters, who have indicated on opinion surveys that they trust Republicans more to address problems at the southern border. Arrests of migrants crossing the southern border hit record highs during the Biden administration, topping two million two years in a row, though recently the pace has slowed.

I believe Illinois automatically registers you when you get a driver’s license.
That is its purpose. We all knew that back in 1993 when Bill Clinton signed the Motor Voter Act into law, enabling all of these states to implement motor voter programs. It was always just a mechanism to register illegals, and to try to hide that within the excuse of “making it easier” for legal citizens to vote.
You can’t issue driver licenses to illegals and not expect this outcome.
It was the whole point of doing it, no matter what arguments they used when promoting it!
Now we will never reverse it.

its automatic, when i renewed my DL here in calif, i was asked if to register to vote, had to jump through hoops to say no i was registered already. thanks to billy clinton moter voter is ripe with fraud
