Hunter Biden’s sentencing has been scheduled for 12/16

That makes sense. Joe will pardon his son as soon as possible. But they'll make him wait

Only in a nation where laws applied to everyone. Yeah, the pardon was always coming. Only the gullible believed Biden when he stated he would not [pardon Hunter. Joe believed he get get the courts to intervene on his son’s behalf to save him form any thing, including a felony record. But he was removed from being the nominee, so that option was no longer possible.

I am not a lawyer, but I do not think you can file an appeal after you plead guilty

I believe a person has to be convicted and sentenced for a crime before the President can pardon.

Nope. Under some state constitutions, that is the case, but not under the U.S. Constitution. President Ford pardoned Richard Nixon even though Nixon had not been charged, let alone convicted of any crime.

“It’s easy to see how,and when, most of the members of the Biden Crime Family get their pardons. But how does The Big Guy get his?

If Kommie loses does he resign before January 20th and let her pardon him? If she wins it’s hard for me to see her doing so...it would damage her enormously as it did to Gerald Ford.”

Biden won’t need to worry, since he currently benefits from the broad powers and immunities the Supreme Court recently confirmed in the Trump case.

Outside that, Biden can just grant himself one of those “secret pocket pardons” that everyone here was convinced PDJT had the authority to issue.

I believe FJB will pardon his worthless son and resign, leaving Kameltoe to run as an incumbent. She’s in trouble so the hope is it will help her campaign.

Hunter might get 17 minutes but the $1.45 million dollar fine is like 3 paintings, so some good Democrat will step up and buy all 3 ..... anonymously, of course.

Maybe The Clinton Foundation needs 3 paintings.......

It’d be hilarious if Crack Head got sentenced to something like 15yrs, and Mr. Potato Head had a stroke before he could pardon him.

Federal tax evasion

Reminds me of Timothy Geithner. He was nominated as Hussein’s Secretary of the Treasury. Only issue was he had failed to report income, lied, etc. But.....he was “too important” so they allowed him to “amend” his previous tax returns, with, of course, no jail time.

Yup,I’ve heard it suggested that he’ll resign before the election. But if she wins she’ll be inclined,IMO,not to pardon him because of the damage it will do to her politically.

“Pardons should not be allowed if the “pardonee” enters a voluntary plea of guilty.”

Perhaps, but that would require a constitutional amendment.

But before the inauguration. I suppose that’s what counts.
