One man was killed and another wounded when a man allegedly opened fire in a Dorchester barbershop in heavily gun-controlled Massachusetts on Monday.
The Boston Herald reported police were called to the barbershop just before 1 p.m. and the body of the deceased victim was still in the barber’s chair.
The wounded victim’s injuries are not life threatening.
Boston.com quoted Boston PD Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin saying, “Based on the preliminary stages of this investigation, we do not believe this was a random event. …We are currently spreading out in the area, canvassing, looking for witnesses.”
WCVB noted that Renier Thompson, the grandfather of the victim shot in the head, said, “To all the young people, don’t follow these gangs, bad company. Get you a job. Make your mothers and fathers proud.”

Dorchester is to Boston as the South Side is to Chicago.
If you need bad winters and leftist neighbors, for pete’s sake go to Vermont. Buy an inn. Consort with road kill gatherers, oddball handymen and dog hair knitters. Just stay out of Massachusetts.
Massholechusetts is a Dump
lol
The only ones allowed to have guns are Criminals
Just like every other blue state.
Dorchester, MA, was where my paternal Grandfather put up his MD shingle—just as the Great Depression started.
He was “paid” in typewriters, compasses, brass candlesticks, old trophies, hand tools and toasters.
During the war, he got a special pass to buy the rationed gasoline of the time.
After the war—and after his death—my Dad sold piles of such detritus at auction. (Today, some much sought-after).
It didn’t used to be.
Dorchester was founded by Puritans in 1630.
Guns don’t need control. People need control. The problem is millions of people with no moral principles and who think it’s OK to shoot people up.
The gun can’t do anything.
I had relatives there at one time. It was, uh, down at the heels. They lived in one of the (at that time) many old frame-built triple deckers. Their landlord had a box of IRA pamphlets in the basement, but AFAIK never raided a barber shop.
A short walk higher up the hill led to a cross street that looked downhill and in the distance the harbor. It was like living in a prewar low-rise urban ethnic neighborhood.
My relatives moved out (different address by that time) when they retired and had been complaining for a while that their landlord there was “a fan of Ronald Reagan” apparently because he was fixing up the place.
As a friend of mine put it, "It depends on whether you live on the "lootin' and shootin'" side of town. Parts of Dorchester border on the dangerous areas of Roxbury; other parts are fairly blue collar and stable.
“when Your government outlaws all guns only two types of criminals will have guns...those who don’t respect the badge and those wearing one”.
MAs gun restrictions are ridiculous.
You can’t even carry ammo in your vehicle without permission even if you don’t have a firearm.
People in NH are aware and try to be careful they don’t accidentally leave some in their vehicle, even if they are only passing through the state.
And all the Massholes are fleeing their oppressive state and trying to then turn NH into it with their (insert profanity here) voting habits.
When they rap "Adoline Be Sweet" you best not dis them.

Rogue guns can do much according Roger Goodman in this video.

Yes and so is Roxbury, Mattapan, Lawrence, Fall River, to name a few!
