Donald Trump’s nephew, Fred Trump III claimed Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that his uncle, former President Donald Trump, did not care about members of the U.S. military.
Trump said, “We spoke the last time we were here about how I had the honor of meeting Senator McCain.”
He continued, “This is a genuine hero. Let’s make no mistake about it. The fact that Donald called him, in essence, a loser, I don’t get it. But anyone who is disabled or anyone who he deems lesser than him is a loser, which, ok, that’s just the way he is. That ain’t gonna change.”

Fair point. Marshal Henri Petain is a famous example of that. Petain was a French hero in WW1. He threw it all away and collaborated with Hitler in WW2.
The Donald mentioned he looked up to his older brother Fred, a handsome man with a great personality, but had a substance abuse problem. Trump said his brother warned him to stay away from drugs and alcohol whenever they talked.
Trump tells people, "No drugs, no drinking, no smoking." Remarkable dialogue and worth watching.
Truly, he did more for the chair force than most other last-of-the-class chumps.

Fred Jr died of consequences of alcoholism when Fred III was 18 and sister Mary was 16. He’d broken up with their mother 11 years before. Not a great upbringing for them, although Donald’s sobriety is in response to what he saw drugs do to his older brother. Doubt either kid took that lesson from Jr.
