Israel Faces General Strike After Hamas Murders 6 Hostages
Breitbartr ^ | 09/02/2024 | Joel B Pollack

Israel is facing a general strike on Monday as the national labor union federation, the Histadrut, called on workers to stay home and to protest in favor of a hostage deal following Hamas’s cold-blooded murder of six hostages last week.

The union has said that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must immediately reach a deal to return the remaining 100 or so hostages, one-third of whom are thought to be dead. But Netanyahu cannot force a deal: he must deal with Hamas, at least indirectly, which has rejected every deal thus far, including those that have basically reflected the terrorist organization’s own bargaining positions, and to which Israel has warily agreed.

Emotions are running wild in Israel. These people want to appease their attacker. They don't think it'll happen again?

Jews demand their government capitulate to a terrorist organization.
Boy have their national values changed!

I just hope the radical islamist sympathizers in the BidenHarris admin are not behind this.

The title makes sense. The text does not.

Striking for appeasement is lunacy.

I would assume that the United States funded NGOs are behind the “strike”, just to cause more trouble.

They ( US Islamist/Iran-compromised liberals) hate Bibi and want a “ color revolution” in Israel.

The middle of an existential war is not a favorable time to install a new leader with an appeasement mandate.

Especially trying to appease Morlocks.

Heck, with street mobs like this 2,000 years ago, Israelis would be speaking Latin.

If the labor union cares nothing about the terms of the deal, the cost/risk of what Israel would give up, then the labor union is essentially pro-Hamas.

“Boy have their national values changed!”

Actually, no. I worked for the American division of an Israeli company. If you think the difference between your average gun toting Republican and a tax and spend liberal is large, you ain’t seen nuthin’. One Israeli told me, “If you have two Israelis you have four firmly held and incompatible opinions.” I’ve never seen so much cognitive dissonance.
We have no concept of the divisions within Israel because we don’t have a section of the electorate who only study the Torah. They don’t have to work. They live off the state and they consider themselves the only real Jews. That’s just one of the wild-a$$ groups they have that we don’t.

Imagine a bunch of wild dogs fighting but under a blanket. From the outside the blanket appears to move one way or the other and we say, “Oh, the Israelis are doing this or that” based on the blanket. That blanket is the Israeli state we see. What they see is the fighting dogs.

They have been protesting for months. Before that, their comrades were protesting Bibi’s judicial reforms. They really are a Fifth Column.

The union has said that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must immediately reach a deal..

Hamas, at least indirectly, which has rejected every deal thus far,..

It appears that all unions today are fronts for, or are openly communist. For a communist, the circumstance is not the issue..

The issue is the Revolution, even if it means the death of millions.

I meant the historic national value of no surrender, fight to the death if existentially threatened as a nation. Even the so-called “ Samson Option”

Can’t think of any historic Jewish leaders going back more than 3,000 years who were defeatists or appeasers. The Jews may have been defeated, enslaved, occupied, and scattered by multiple empires, but they came back. Surprise attacked, but they prevailed.

“ Never Again”

“Germany had to do something to bring the war to an end, and do it fast. Facing possible disaster, its political leadership resorted to an extra-military conspiracy to undermine the Allied effort. The endemic unrest and instability in Imperial Russia provided the best opportunity.”

They shouldn’t be allowed to strike over non-labor issues.
