Corn, potatoes, beef, poultry: they are all grown right there in Washington DC. Why else would the USDA be headquartered there? All the farming expertise is clustered In the nation’s capital.”
Lol, I was thinking the same thing. The last thing Dept. of Agriculture employees want is to live and work locally with by a bunch of pissed off farmers.
But the real problem here is we have city folks who are completely disconnected from rural culture and values ruling over the rural areas. They should be closer to their work so they are connected and accountable locally. They need to live the lifestyle and culture to properly do their jobs.
Send them to Gaza and Eastern Ukraine.
Send federal workers to the unemployment line.
North Dakoda would be a nice place for about half of them. They can learn to ice fish about 7 months a year.

Federal workers don’t need to fear being moved. Their jobs should be eliminated. Government could easily be cut in half with no effect except the reduction in cost.
The fever swamps of Michigan’s U P or Maine would be nice too. That would toughen the bastards up.

Nothing to do with this post, but I was on an Alaskan cruise last year - the first week of July. Visitd the Red Dog Saloon. Loved it. Got a bumper sticker on my pickup that says “Follow My Ass To The Red Dog Saloon.”
They need to see what the private sector experiences.
Try raising one chicken in DC. You will have 6 federal agencies as well as the DC government all over you. It’s forbidden.

One particular demographic could be relocated to Liberia, West Africa. The official language is English. Its government was patterned after USA’s. Establish some US Federal satellite offices there.
