On to the General Election on November 5th. I do have a Democrat running against me. My district is solid Republican. We went for Trump 73% last election and it will be more this election. Anything can happen, but we have not had a Democrat elected in our District for decades.

I have been a member of FreeRepublic since 1998. My Dad, Edlinn, brought me in.

I am currently the Chairman of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors and am in my 3rd term Representing my District on that Board. If you could just wish me some luck on election day I would be so appreciative. I will be posting here about how things really work at the State. I have a head start because I have worked with the Legislature throughout the last 12 years. But I am ready for my new adventure in Phoenix!

Congrats, Hildy, and I’ll definitely say a prayer that you win in November. I met you at the March for Justice back in 1998, which is when you mentioned who your father was. We had just moved to AZ a few yrs prior from the San Diego area which is where your family had a long history. Glad to see you succeed in politics as we need conservatives like you representing us.
